1. Thank Olmert and Livini who gave security to the UN
Richard ,   NYC   (06.10.07)
Israel will never recover from the election of kadima. Olmert and the rest of the kadima traitors are the WORST thing to ever happen to Israel. Olmert has ruined israel's deterrence and given our security to the un restricting the freedom of movement of the idf. Olmert makes Chamberlain look like Patton.
2. Who was right
yosef ,   tel aviv   (06.10.07)
So Olmert and Livne were right. Israel did not lose the war and rather it was a great success.
3. Re-arming
rebecca   (06.10.07)
Has the UN anything to say about this report?
4. why?
zicko ,   brazil   (06.10.07)
if you know syria/iran are the suppliers of arms and weapons to hizbullah...then why you don't go after them....why lebanon has to pay the price all the time
5. not only under UN nose but Siniora as well
lamar ,   lebanon   (06.10.07)

as long as axis of evil syria/iran regiemes in the region.....there will be no peace
7. just amatter of time
Ali ,   Beirut   (06.10.07)
everyone knows (even the stupids ) that last summer war didn't end...it was just along break and it will resume very soon
8. Hezbollah
Rick S. ,   L.A.   (06.10.07)
Thank you, Mr. Olmert, for making this possible. Thank you for being so weak that our enemies can do whatever they want while the UN forces play cards and look the other way. Mr. Olmert, you should be tried for treason.
9. somebody forgot to tell hizbullah that we 'won on points'
dan halutz   (06.10.07)
10. Olmert Livni Dismal Foreign Policy Failures: Gaza & UN 1701
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd USA   (06.10.07)
All these did was to keep Israel (the victor) from keeping its upper hand and allow the enemies to rearm next to the border. Now, lets add the Syrian Golan Heights Ceasefire to that equation and where there was once Israel superiority on the Golan, now Syria once again faces Israel with tanks rockets and planes. These are the leaders the Israelis chose. No wonder no one trusts them
11. The UN forces are too busy acting against Israel
donsaliman ,   nahal oz Israel   (06.10.07)
They have no time to or are afraid of Hizbullah
12. UN forces are good for nothing.
Daniel ,   Israel   (06.10.07)
They don't belong to either of the nations. They don't care and risk their lives for foreign nations. What they can do in case of emergency is get out of the way. It is better Israel took the charge of buffer zone inside Lebanon.
13. By Anymeans Necessary
Isreali Supporter ,   USA   (06.10.07)
As unpalitable as it seems, Isreal will have to do the unthinkable and deal wityh Hebollah onece and for all. Now, the unthinkable here, does not and cannot include any kind of negotiation with Hezbollah. This will become more and more urgent as time goes by. Isreal does not have too much time to do this. It hs to act BEFORE Iran gets the bomb. There is not question in my mind that Iran, under the recklessness of the supid and ancient mullahs, will use it against Isreal. This therefore means that Isreal has to act first, in much the same way it did in 1967. The use of small tactical nuclear weapons may even be necessary. Any failure to do this, will only result in the second halocaust. To oall the sane people out there, berar in mind that Iran says the first one did not happen, so it is reasonable for us and the powers that be in Isreal, to assume that Iran will make sure there is a second one to commemorate. This then will remove all doubt that it did indeed happen. Thisis

16. U.N. "Bee-Keeping Forcepts"
(06.10.07)
They misunderstood that they were to be "Peace-Keeping Forces". Israel should go in and carpet bomb Southern Lebanon. But, as long as U.N. forces are there, Israel will not be able to. THATS WHY THEY ARE THERE, TO UNDERMINE ISRAELI SELF-PROTECTION!
17. Next war completely carpet bomb Lebanon
andy ,   orllando,fl   (06.10.07)
It appears that Israel will once again be fighting for her survival. The only way to defeat rockets is for the IAF to completely flatten South Lebanon.World opinion about collateral damage should be irrelevant. How can Israel trust the UN is beyond anybody with a brain, except that moron Olmert of course.Israel is at the moment on a course of catastrophe with the present appeasers Olmert et al.
18. Whay the compalints? It was the terms of the Livni SURRENDER

20. Livni & Condoleeza Rice ....
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (06.10.07)
Putting the UN in S. Lebanon was a brilliant strategy. It really did a lot to improve our security. Any other brilliant ideas?
21. can Israel ask for withdrawal of UNIFIL from Lebanon ?
(06.10.07)
22. golans last card played before war!!!!!
robert ,   farmington   (06.10.07)
with the talk of israel giving back the golans I really believe israel is trying hard to stop a war because everybody knows the next one is going to be bad, I think israel is covering there a$$ before they bomb the hell out of syria and the terror groups they can say see we wanted peace but they choose war.!!!!!!!! may god forever bless israel
23. Call PM Olmert at +972-2-670-5555 & Tell Him ...

Tell those in the PM's Office: Israel must become a deterrent force once more. We must rely on ourselves, not any friend, 'neutral' body, or even enemies to defend us. REMOVE THE HIZBULLAH FROM SOUTH LEBANON BY FORCE, NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. There is no need for war. There is EVERY need for peace. Pre-Emptive Force is the best way to remove the terrorists' threat against Israel's very existence.
24. 19 u must be out of ur mind
haim ,   mtl canada   (06.10.07)
if we stop arming we wont be here for long .and before u start dancing in the streets will take care of u, u racist
25. To 7
Lebanese Australian ,   MELBOURNE   (06.10.07)
Unfortunatly that is true. It is about time that the Lebanese people & mainly the Shiite do a revision to their support to Nasserallah who didn't bring to them except destructions. He destroyed their villages for the sake of freeing a child murderer (Samir Kountar) who was just an excuse. The real reason for starting the war is executing the orders of his masters in Iran & Syria. I hope that the Shiite people of Lebanon who no doubt are pariots, will realise that Nasserallah is working for an Iranian agenda that puts the interests of Lebanese people & mainly the Shiite last. I solute the Free Shiite Movement in Lebanon & The Shiite Mufti of Tyre & JABAL AAMEL and I think they are the hope for Lebanon's future.

29. Hezbollah rearms
The realist   (06.10.07)
So what, if Hezbollah rearms with what so ever. Israel also rearms with all the arms necessary. It is not about who got what arms. It is about who got the stronger will...
30. Isreal the one who wanted the UN
Mahmoud   (06.10.07)
