It's laughable that Ahmadinejad can threaten a nation with destruction, and then cry to the UN when they talk about defending themselves. In his eyes, you're supposed to just whimper and beg before he kills you.

In recent days he has declared that the "countdown for Israel's destruction has begun", that the Jewish state must be "wiped off the map" and that the Israeli "regime will soon disappear". Now that Israel shows no fear and instead reveals a preparedness to deal with such an unprovoked threat, Ahmadinejad calls on the same United Nations who he defies in order to obtain the nuclear weapons that he needs to carry out his threats in the first place. It is a case of someone wanting to play 'big boys games' but not wanting to adhere to 'big boys rules'.

I mean, the President has been threatening Israel for months now - serious threats of total annihilation - but now he officially complains about ....Israel? "Iranians decided to appeal to the Security Council ... and demand that Israel operate in accordance with international law and the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter. This is the same nation violating nuclear and political agreements. What's with the Middle East? The more I read, the more confused I get.

What's he complaining about? Nobody's threatening to wipe Iran off the map. No doubt, his confusion will be dealt with before long.
