Hold your horses! No need to vent out your ignorant feelings about the religious. Admittedly, breaking the law is least expecteted from the religious and this guy has to face the music. To make assumptions that all the religious or at Shas are the same is like believing all academics are lefties. Have faith!

You are right , we have not to incriminate all the religious of wrongdoing , because of this guy . But , you have to know , that he is not the first Shas party MP or minister to be caught with such unlawful behaviour . You also have to know that this party sells his participation in a government for hard cash . Those "you have to know" can of course be translated in "if you want to know" . Sometimes people do'nt want to know facts who are against their ideas .

It's the way Shas conduct themselves in the Knesset. That's what has turned so many people against them. It's the damage they are doing to the country. Any infraction now is one more proof of their dishonesty.

Why did he require so many NIS out side this country? Obviously; to keep it safe some place else, is it that the politicians are making their own arrangements to flee from the country in case.... Just like Palestinian leaders.

Ok, it appears I don't know much about Israeli politics. Gosh, Shas has such a bad reputation? Is that why so many Israelis are turning away from religion? If that is the case shame on them for distancing people from the pleasures of observance. Here in the UK the religious are usually well respected.
