Those pushing this boycott should be ostracized from academia. People like Tom Hickey, David Rose and Sue Blackwell are simply waging their own personal vendetta against Israel at the expense of British universities. Muslims don't like to work, they do not contibute in the sciences or high tech, ... what a load of crock. If the author truly laments the sins of his ancestors agaiants the Jewish people then he should suggest carving out a bit of christendom as a Jewish colony, which will give additional security to the jewish state. He should try to estimate the value of damages that chtistendom owes to the Jewis people and provide it in real estate with defendable borders from christendom. Nowhere was it mentioned that these boycotts are racist and single Israel out to the exclusion of every other country, most of which are far worse than Israel could ever be. It's the same as when a Palestinian will step up and say that suicide bombings are wrong. Unfortunately, they only think they're wrong because they're detrimental to "the cause." Not because the murder of innocent Israeli civilians is completely immoral.
