2. Tamuz
ben ,   singapore   (06.18.07)
These things happens during these seasons RiGHT ? Idiots , listen ,now you Gays want to clash and spoil everything in the holi land. The haredi are the the living evidence of the Kingdom of G-d. Dont play with the People of G-d, the anoited haredim community of Yisrael. You GAYS are bringing curses into Yisrael. If the haredim declare a curse you HOMOSExTUAL had it.Every time you pass flyers you commit blasphemy against the Lord G-d house of Yisarel. Please try to see all that happened to Israel in this month of TAMUZ.IDioTs THINK, dont invite CURSES over your heads ! Warning : IF the haredim declare by words you Gay had it , now REPENT and CONFESS to the Lord G-d of Yisarel. REPENT for your SAKE !!!!
3. If Democracy means G-dlessness and corruption
Yoav ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.07)
we do not need democracy.
4. Playing with Fire
Miriam ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.07)
I feel sorry for the ones behind it.
5. Posters
rebecca   (06.18.07)
You Gays really have to push yourselves in peoples faces. Why cant you just have your parade where people want you and stop being so agressive. There have always been "gays" / sexually deviant people, that's why the torah mentions them, explicity telling us that these people are "NO GOOD" and are you proving it. And I'm secular !
6. Nothing can stop them now!! : )
Talula ,   Israel   (06.18.07)
The hateful religous bigots of Israel have learnt a hard lesson. I hope it hurt them. And those that were arrested should be caged up for a long long time - or made to clean up after the gay parade.
7. Well done! This sort of thing should happen more...
m ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.07)
You may not need democracy #3 but some of us dont think god even exists and would always choose democracy over god. This is our city too! I am not gay but I am pro democracy and freedom, all that the charedim have managed is to make people like me angry at them and more determined to join the gay pride parade at any cost. You religious people get to push your beliefs in my face every day here in jerusalem, what a shame that you get some of your own medicine for a change. S tart facing the fact that you are bigoted homophobes whose time is coming to a close as people choose freedom over religious coercion.. I dont believe in curses either, thats just more religious hatred. Get over it already people or realise that religion breeds hate and bigotry and needs to be adapted for the 21st century and beyond. The gays were in the german camps with our grandparents, the least we can do is respect their freedoms and beliefs.
8. I don't like Haredim, but...
Avi   (06.18.07)
I don't like Haredim (don't feel comfortable around them), but I don't think homosexuality is good for the human soul either. This is the Jewish homeland. If we are going to ignore the teachings of our precious Torah, we might just as well cease to celebrate Shavuot and forget about the struggles of the Maccabim and the Chanukah victory. There is no other purpose in being Jewish, or having a Jewish State of Israel. Gay people: Go be proud of your sexuality somewhere else. In Jerusalem, celebrate your Jewishness, not your homosexuality.
9. 7 So you don't believe in G-d.
Yoav ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.07)
But when you are in pain or want success, you scream to G-d to help you. Hah? You hypocrite! Jerusalem and Israel belongs to G-d and was given to the Jews. This city is not Sodom or Gemorrah. So if you contaminate it with abomination that G-d despises, you don't belong here. And if you and your immoral friends won't leave on your own, G-d will make sure to get you out of here. You don't have to believe in curses. And according to you Sharon's situation happened by chance, hah? And all those MKs fired (or resigned) is by chance, hah?
10. This is not 'Sinat Chinam'! It is 'Sinah' for a higher cause
Ben ,   Jerusalem Israel   (06.18.07)
The author's of the notice obviously have no idea what 'sinat chinam' is. If they look in a dictionary it means *causeless* hatred. When the g-d of the Torah himself says that he hates the behaviour of homosexuality, then NOTHING can be a more CAUSEFULL HATRED than that. Once again ignorant leftists putting words in the mouth of the god they don't believe in.
11. Well said, Avi. To the point.
Yoav ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.07)
12. Until Haredim serve in the army...
Gidi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.18.07)
and contribute to the state of israel and believe in the state, they should stay quiet.
13. Gidi....
Jo Jo ,   London   (06.18.07)
Why should the haredim stay quiet? If it wasn't for the State of Israel, there would never be such a profanation in the holiest city in the world in the first place. Let the Zionists leave Jerusalem to those who truly appreciate it spiritual worth. Relocate the kenesset to Tel Aviv and let Jerusalem be an international city where its holiness would be respected!! The ordinal haredi yishuv didn't ask for their city to be secularised and become a Rio-de-janiro. If the army wasn’t so full of harediphobes like yourself, they may just be more agreeable to joining the army.
14. thenks to the bone heads for promoting the march
Avi ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.07)
For a bunch of people who sit around and "learn" all the time the haredim are proving yet again that they are a bunch of blind numskulls and they may know a lot, but they understand nothing, especially about human beings. Their antics have done more than anything to alert homosexuals within their community that they are not alone. Own goal. See you all on Thursday afternoon, gay and not, demonstrating for our freedom and that of of fellows.
15. Meretz is nothing but a bunch of gays
Mordechai   (06.18.07)
Not a suprise there isn't a single realm man in Meretz.
16. yes yes yes
sk ,   USA   (06.18.07)
Very nice, and about time! This is a "forward defense" if I ever saw one. Perfect.
17. rebecca (5): clown suits want to ban marches from Tel Aviv
sk ,   USA   (06.18.07)
Do you read the paper? The Haredim are positively Islamic in their imperialism. No place in Israel is safe for gays until the haredim's power is taken from them.
18. Jo - Jo, which army ?
Gidi ,   Jeursalem, Israel   (06.18.07)
Some of these gay people are brave soldiers and have defended them from being killed by Arabs. If they think it's a good idea to have Jews in Jerusalem ready to be slaughtered by enemy forces, and Jerusalem the holiest eternal capital of Israel and Jehuda to be subjected to an "international city" form of occupation then they are the ones who should move somewhere else. Jerusalem with Jews without soverignity is worthless.
19. And btw Mr. Jojo
Gidi ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.18.07)
if they don't like the country, why do they keep asking for money in the government ? kinda strange to squeeze money out of the system and not recognise its legitimacy. kind of like arabs...
20. #8 Sad man in denial
Talula ,   Israel   (06.18.07)
Funny that you think that assaulting policemen, burning tires and running riot is the Jewish way of life. There is never such violent demonstrations in Tel Aviv, the supposed city of sin. You're just another homophobe in disguise. Poor and pathetic you.
21. #13 - Absolutely right
Talula ,   Israel   (06.18.07)
They don't serve their country, they suck the government dry and they come around house to house asking for money from people WHO DO ACTUALLY WORK. Until they serve their country, pay tax and contribute something, they should keep their stupid mouths shut. They don't have the right to demand anything from this State.
22. Flyers
American ,   USA   (06.18.07)
Freedom is always connected to truth and I'm not seeing truth in this, just massive propaganda. It seems to have a lot to do with manipulating peoples minds. Attaching the Gay movement to things that people react positively towards and connecting anyone opposed to them with known negative psychological triggers.
23. WHY ARE GAYS SO INSECURE OF THEIR FETISH??
BUNCHA KOOKS ,   JERUSALEM   (06.18.07)
Why is it that the inabilty to be sexually attracted to the opposite sex create such a severe insecurity that gays can't be content with life until others are made aware and publicly accept their sexual fetish? They constantly have to lie about the percentage of gays that really exist and how natural it is, when in fact we all know that it is in fact MUCH rarer in reality and the majority of the world has an inane inherint sense of the un-naturalness of the fetish.
24. ONLY COMPLETE IGNORAMOUS CAN CALL HAREIDIM HOMOPHOBIC
Ben ,   Jerusalem Israel   (06.18.07)
If the Torah had commanded the Jewish people to honour and respect Homosexuality, then the hareidim would honour and respect homosexuality in the most stringent fantic way possible. They would put leftist libertarians to shame in their love of homosexuals. THEREFORE homophobia has NOTHING to do with the anti-homosexual position.
25. Talula - Absolutely wrong!
Jo Jo ,   London   (06.18.07)
They...They....They. Talula , you sound like a hard-done by soul the way you stereotype the haredim. Shame on you hardeiphobe. They do not "suck" (read parasite, you know - another word for fleas living off a hippos skin) the government dry. The defense budget is what the real draw on the states finances. And why is all this money needed? To protect the Zionist state which was imposed on the hardeim who lived in Eretz Yisrael before people like you ruined the social-ethnic balance. Now Jews everywhere in the diaspora are targets. Is anything the Zionists should leave the country.
26. Sad Talula in denial
Jo Jo ,   London   (06.18.07)
Assaulting policemen, burning tires and running riot is not the Jewish way of life but neither are homosexual relationships and provoking sensitivities by marching about being proud of sin the jewish way of life. You're just another hardeiphobe in disguise. Poor and pathetic you!
27. "clown suits"
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (06.18.07)
Look at the picture of the freak in red fright wig and black sequined pasties and red bustier if you want to talk about "clown suits."
28. The Parade is a Meretz Political Campaign
Steve ,   USA   (06.18.07)
B"H Can any one list Meretz's position on Jerusalem? Is it perhaps that Jerusalem should not be led by the Jews? And here comes this well-funded organization to make war on the Orthodox observance of Torah, making these rediculous posters to offend the entire sector, as an offense and a political campaign. The message is "we can subjugate Torah values to hedonism". The backing is not coincident, as it is a Meretz political campaign. Meretz does not have ownership over Jerusalem to "give it up" by giving up morality and forcing offense on its residents. That is why this bestiality parade needs to be cancelled. This is part of the campaign to divest Jerusalem of Judiasm and its Jews. The campaign ought to be held in Gaza where the consequence of this abandonment is clear. There is the solution. The IDF should provide protection for Meretz in Gaza to parade so they can meet the real counter protest to their behavior and see the outcome more clearly of their approach. Quote: Ynet has learned that the "Citizens for an equal, sane Israel" group is believed to be associated with Meretz youth.
29. Jo Jo in London
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.18.07)
The Zionist state who was imposed on them ......Let them do as some Arabs did : FLEE , and we'll be HAPPY to get rid of them . But tell me mr "hardei" [ what is this ? ] defender , how much were they in 1948 ? how did they live ? [ if you can call this living ] They always were great in one thing : SCHNORREN , that's their "way" of life . Now they have added something to their life : to be hatefull . Great people indeed . PS : there are exeptions of course . Sad to say , we do not hear their voices
30. Gays
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.18.07)
If god has created men and women , if he looks at everything , why has he created gays . If i dislike something , i will not make it . So again some possibilities . 1] he has created them , to call them a sin later . Where is the logic ? 2] he has created them because he thinks it's OK to be gay . So why condemn them . Or 3] the most credible : there is no god .
