91. #89- Rami, you & yours have enough of a labor trying to....
Cameron ,   USA   (06.19.07)
learn how to play the man and begin to clean-up & correct your own cultural failures & pathology. The task before you of cleaning up Palestinian behavior is so enormous that I'm surprised you even have the time for more whining and sniveling about the 'evil' Jews.
92. Christian Missionaries Not Allowed In Israel Either
Fred Farkelsteinman ,   NY, NY USA   (06.19.07)
The statements of an extremist regarding Christians can be ignored, as Hamas is in charge and not Abu Saqer . Unlike in Judaism, Jesus is considered to be one of God's prophets along with Moses and Mohammed. Such hatred of Chrisians and the symbols of Christianity can be seen in Israel where Christian clergy are regularly spit on by Israeli Jews and prostelytizing is strictly verboten by the Israeli government, which was not the case in Palestine before Israeli rule. My guess is that Israeli operative in Gaza, of which there are many, were responsible for the attack in order to undermine Hamas.
93. Guy, you are WAY off..
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (06.19.07)
I'm not sure you choose to attribute to me things that I did not say no represent me and who I am. The more I read, the more you loose your credibility. For your info, I love my country, Israel, and even willing to carry arm to protect it. I come from a family that has many memebs serving in the police force and army. Still liek the druze, the Jewish majority chose to keep me margenalized and REFUSES to integrate me in the collective israeli society. I'm not sure where you cam up with all the other stuff which is not true.
94. Persecution or Opportunity?
John Molaison ,   Etowah, Tn.   (06.19.07)
I hope all of the christians there in gaza stand up to hamas and say, that's it, we are taking control of gaza and forgiving all of our enemies, put your guns down and have a sandwhich. Oh, by the way, Jesus Christ is Lord. johnmolaison@yahoo.com
95. #93- But have you and yours truly earned their..............
Cameron ,   USA   (06.19.07)
good faith & trust, and would they ever be wise in gving it to you? Trust is earned, Rami, and you have done a rather poor job in gaining that quality.
96. Religion of Peace
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.19.07)
Means Rest in Peace for all those that are not Muslims.
97. #89 I understand you, but you must understand us
Omri ,   Israel   (06.19.07)
No one can deny that descrimination exists here, it's a fact. Nevertheless, one can't blame descrimination without understanding its roots: When the Jews returned here with good will and gave you their hand for peace, it was your brothers which attacked us over and over again, mercilessly, hell bent on removing Jewish existence. In a lot of cases, the Israeli arabs helped them by betraying Israel and aiding terrorism against it. This descrimination is the result of decades of agression by your arab brothers and hostility emerging from your leaders towards all that is Israeli/Jewish. We simply want to live in peace, and I know you wish for that too. In order for this to happen, you must show loyalty, show that what we think about arabs is not true. Prove that, do not let a minority of extremists put a black mark on your name. Speak up! You and other moderates are the key to a future of peace! All we hear all day long from arab leaders is support of terrorism against us. This puts the arabs in a very dark position. It is up to you to change it. Only you can prove that prejudices are wrong. Come on in, try to mingle. We will welcome you wholeheartedly. We seek peace, we want to live our lives, and we want you to live yours in peace and prosperity. You can make it true! Salam.

Jack just said he wasnt a supporter of Hamas! Duh! And wow - #39, wishing his church gets ransacked - thats the equivilant of actually DOING the act! Shame on you!
99. # 93 Rami
Guy ,   Israel   (06.20.07)
I apologize if I have offended you and your family. I was upset at you saying no economic freedom. Bear in mind that the word you in English is both singular and plural, unlike Hebrew or Arabic where the words are different. By saying "you" I did not mean you personally but Israeli Arabs in general. Apologies.
100. attacking churches in Gaza
Natcho ,   Italy   (06.20.07)
as usual the muslims bite the hand that feeds them and then cry for aid and humane crisis when will the west understand?
101. # 98 Zi
Guy ,   Israel   (06.20.07)
Yes, I am ashamed, deeply ashamed that humanity produces characters like Jack who spout venomous anti semitic rhetoric and broadcast lies about Israel being non tolerant of minorities, Israel is not perfect by any measure and there are bad individuals here as there are everywhere, but there is no policy of "apatheid" in Israel and if people knew even the basic concepts of the Hebrew religion they would understand that it would just be impossible. I wonder what Jack and his ilk are saying now that Israel is sending in thousands of tons of food and medicine to Gaza, that Israel treats Palestinians in Israeli hospitals on a daily basis. I am sick fed up of being told by leftist idiots that Israel is a racist society and discriminates and commits crimes against humanity.
102. # 98 Zi
Guy ,   Israel   (06.20.07)
Ask Rami from Nazareth if Life in Israel is bad and evil and discriminatory. Ask him if he goes to church when he wants to, ask him who protects his church. Ask him if he would like to live in another country. I have visited, in various circumstances, many an Arab country, 7 to be exact, believe me They are standing in line for exit visas and nobody wants to live there. I just want all the filthy lies about Israel to stop.
103. Ironic but HAMAS IS ACTUALLY RIGHT!!
Meir Elazar   (06.20.07)
While I disapprove of HAMAS imposing their extreme Moslem standards on others, the Christian Missionaries are the worst. Jews and Moslems have preserved the meaning of Tzedaka (Hebrew) and Sedaka (Arabic) meaning charity which in both religions is a sacred obligation to be performed anonymously and solely for the benefit of the poor. While I wont go into the Spanish and Portugese Crusades and the history of Christian persecutions, the Christian missionaries exploit the poverty, illness, and misery of people in order promote their religious beliefs/agenda at the expense of the misery of these people. This vile exploitation of the misery of others by Christian Missionaries is nothing less than evil and must be fought against. Give food, medicine, and whatever but leave your religious marketing material at home or you deserve the punishment that you will find. HAMAS and others will not show mercy and you deserve none.
104. Anti-Christian attacks in Gaza
Mark K Parker ,   Rio Rancho, NM USA   (06.20.07)
How much do you want to bet that some Christians will claim it was a Jewish provocation and a part of a Jewish conspiracy? I will watch closely internet discussions in Poland, where many still live who believe in the racist theories of the XIX and early XX Century. The events in the Strip confirm the fact that Israel is the only democratic country in the region. Long live Israel!
105. There are reports that during the takeover Hamas found in
lakshmi   (06.20.07)
the Preventive Security building tapes and documents implicating Mohamed Dahlan to overthrow the democratically elected government.I dont think the money and ammo that Abbas was receiving from israel was intended for any good purpose.Samihya of fatah boasted publicly that he had killed many Hamas weeks before the takeove r and that he had torched several houses.Of the 100 or so people who were killed in the fighting, some were evidently punishment. One hamas was thrown from the balcony. One fatah also. The reporting in World net Daily about all this was biased. And looting occurs everywhere in such situations.Even mosques were looted.Anyhow,Hamas is now in charge.Gaza has been quiet since then.
106. Yet there is a way out
marilyn   (06.20.07)
Headcovering for women, should be no problem as it is a command for Christian women to cover their heads when they pray or prophesy. And seeing we are exhorted to pray constantly it should facilitate the obedience . Jesus never sent us to build buildings but to build new personalities, so loss of buildings no problem. But freedom of speech, now that is a Christian freedom no man can take from us.But they will need the power of God .which God has promised us.
107. #92 Crawl back under your rock
Lina ,   USA   (06.20.07)
You don't know a thing about Israel and just lie post after post. You must be sick of yourself.
108. Nice! And Israel is singled out by the UNHR...
The Doc ,   Haifa, Israel   (06.20.07)
I wonder what those Presbyterians and the Council of Churches members will be discussing - will they be deciding on the color of the scarf their women will wear - to clearly show that they are inferior to their Muslim counterparts - or how often they will have to kiss Muslim a***s in order not to get harassed. Interesting what their flock thinks about their leaders supporting those who desecrate churches, croses, bibles etc. Maybe they are NOT Christians after all. I hope that Hamas succeeds to kill all human rights in Gaza. That will be a befitting punishment for those who elected them in the first place.
109. #83 Rami Nazareth
Jerred   (06.20.07)
As a Jew in the Diaspora I can only identify with you, but you have to be realistic: an ethnic minority will ALWAYS be disadvantaged. The same with us, the Jews, in the diaspora
110. #26 Jack from Gaza
Leon ,   Houston   (06.20.07)
It must have been the Zionist enemy who vandalizes the church and the Rosary Sisers Schools. If you believe this I have bridge to sell you.
111. Muslims are doing great at increasing islamophobia
Ana Maria ,   Latin America   (06.20.07)

Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (06.20.07)
First of all, relax. You have a major misconception as to how a Halachic/Torah state would operate. It would in no way be comparable to what we know of the "extremism" found in other religions. This is not the place for explaining to you how a Torah state would function, but rest assured that it would be thoughtful, compassionate and just. Even someone such as yourself would feel comfortable and most welcome therein. Even you might come to enjoy the serenity and spiritual warmth the Torah state will provide. But, make no mistake. It will be lead by scholars and men of learning and wisdom, and not corrupt politicians. Am I dreaming? I would rather think that this has been the Jewish dream for two thousand years. This is why I am here. To make this vision into a reality.
113. Fred Farkelschwainman # 92
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.20.07)
All proseltyting is prohibited in MY country . It was maybe not the case in the PA because they came also with money to help those in need there . Here in Israel we do'nt need this help , we have great Jewish NGO's , who help everyone , be it a Christian , muslim and of course a Jew . Regarding religious freedom , how many cases of desecration have you seen here ? one , and this was most probably the work of metal thieves . Spitting on clergymen ?, one case ! in other country they are murdered , their bookstores set at fire . Here they are protected , as are their institutions and churches . They are free to observe their feasts , openly . Yes , and of course the 9/11 , the Tsunami and New Orleans flood were also caused by Israelis .
114. Reuven
(06.20.07)
I prefer those elected politicians over those "scholars" and "men of learning" . Those "scholars" who proclaim that the earth was created in six days , that this earth exists less than 6000 years , that there is a god [ where ? ] "male rachamim" as we have seen [ or better did not see ] and other of such stupidities . They will lead a country ? A modern country ? You are also such a retarded "bipede" to believe in such things . I did not made Alyah to live in such a backwards "state" . If you are here for this , you are on a wrong place . Middle ages east european shtetls are your place .
115. Reuven , # 114 is mine
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.20.07)
116. #40: ... because there aren't jews in Gaza
Tobias ,   Germany   (07.05.07)
They try to force Christians , and not Jews, to accept Islamic rule, simply because there is a small christian minority in Gaza, but since the hitnatkut (Aug. 2005) there aren't any Jews left in Gaza/Hamastan. And if one day they would get control over an area where Jews live, they wouldn't force islamic law on them - instead they'd kill them. Only Exceptions are hostages like Gilad Shalit. I mean - every regular reader of this site surely knows what Hamas recommends to do with Jews --- thus, there won't ever be a Hamas-controlled territory with a (living) jewish minority.
