I work in the hospitaliy industry and there is no doubt that many brits have thier holiday in the caribbean, it's been over 10 yrs I've worked both as a Tour Rep and a hotel employee. The bbc is anti-israel and I wanted to know if most brits felt the same as the bbc, well I was not surprised that out of the 1000's of brits that I have asked only 1 couple really spoke favourably of israel simply because they were british jews. Don't be fooled people there are largenumber of brits are both anti-israel and anti-american.

We boycott Israel because we are appalled about the conditions the palestinians are living in. If they had been willing to make peace with Israel by now they would be the second best country to live in in the M.E. Their hatred for Jews and Israel has kept them in the dark ages. I say since we feel so sorry for them, let us take in a few million into the UK and let them live free and in peace. How about that my fellow Brits. or is it a NIMBY hypocrisy.

The primary purpose of a union is to maintain and advance the wage rates and working conditions of its members and to defend and promote a fair and safe work environment. Why are they playing politics? Can';t there time and resources be spent covering their mandate, or is every member of this union completely satisified with their job.
