The future status of the jewish territory Israel liberated in 1967 has yet to be decided thats an issue to be resolved through negotiations between Israel and the palestians the trade unions are trying to enforce the palestian demands onto Israel. As for the Golan settlements and the future of the Golan itself thats to be decided through negotiations with Israel and Syria not through British trade union boycots. If they are so quick to boycot Israel why were there never any bocots of Syria when they illigaly occupied Lebanon for 30 years. Where are the boycots of China over their occupatioon of Tibet? Where is the boycot of Turkey over the Cyprus issue? Its allways Israel the single out as if there were no other conflicts in the world and if Israel just sureneded to arab demands there would be world peace. Quite right Unison is the biggest public union and when I was one of its members it did very little for advancing my conditions. I was in Finland for awhile and couldn't wait to get out of there,it's a black hole. Talking to a Finn is like talking to a robot.They Don't show any feelings.
