yes, we are jews, but that fact should not make us also stupid and imbecilic in treating the palestinians. refusal to get involved, refusal to aid and refusal to assist even innocents that are caught between bullets is not being non jewish or vengeful. it is being practical. it is being careful and it is being sane! there is not one single country on earth that would aid those calling for its demise and are still trying via kasams and ak47's. it is a known fact that arabs cannot be trusted. one has to just look at how they treat each other and how many peace and cease fires they have on a daily basis and break them constantly. we cannot afford to help them in any way, shape ot form. they should be left on their own to deal with the aftermath of their "democratic ellections of hamas". thweir friends in the arab world such as egypt, jordan, iran, sausi arabia, etc... should furnish the meds and foods necessary for their survival. not one cent should come out of neither israeli or american or european countries. they want a state, they have to learn how to build one! they want a total factional war, they have to learn the consequences. just like children. there is a case/effect and consequences. by bailing them out we teach them nothing, nothing. we make them more dependent on our aid and not empower them to seek peace for their own future country. giving them aid is a form of manipulation and enabling. the aid never reaches the needy, but the political echhelon who uses it in gaza to rain kasams on israel and call for its elimination. how can we even think of helping such people. jewishness, humanity and helping the sick/needy is lost on the palestinians. if we think we can show them the right way of treating others in need, save yourselves the time. it won't work, not with these people whose mentality is so very foreign to all free thinking reasonable human beings. do not look for religion here to force yourselves to be good and righteous. it won't work, not for them. if a parent wants to change the behavior of their child, he doesn't give him candy after a misbehavior. he gives the child a time out, deprivation of fun, of what he wants and a punishment. if this punishment by israel entails not giving aid or help to the "poor palestinians", this is the best thing we can all do for them. when these same people see that life for them doesn't mean hamas and terrorism and when they know no one will bail them out, maybe then they'll learn that elections as well as behaviors need to change. there is no better lesson for a misbehaving child than to ignore his negatives and reward his positives. since the palestinians and their leaders have the intelligence iq of a toddler, let's treat them like todlers.

What you say is understandable. But there is much more to it. Israel should not miss this opportunity. It's not a choice of being either "stupid", as you say, or callous. There is something else to consider. Gaza is an extremely powerful exhibit for the entire world. Gaza is the answer to the question that has been evaded for decades: Is Palestine viable? The answer is right there for everyone to see. The lawlessness, the violence of Arab against Arab. And the culture behind it: the indoctrination of children, the corruption, the lack of accountability. Israel must not miss the opportunity to point this out and to demand a review of the concept of Roadmap, and of Two-Countries-Living-in- Peace-Side-By-Side concept. Too bad there is no leader up to the task, but someone with credibility should travel to Washington, call a press conference, and make a presentation of what has really been taking place in the PA, what Abu Mazen and other leaders have REALLY said in their speeches regarding their intentions for the destruction of Israel, and the violence that has always been the Palestinian answer to Israelis' peace overtures. There are so many facts to back up the conclusion that the US has been pushing for a very dangerous and destructive plan. Let the international aid agencies take care of the needy in Gaza. Let the Arabs help them. But use this opportunity to end the Road Map to Peace game which is nothing but a plot to destroy Israel.

very well put and quite correct. however, what you are missing here is that no one, not europe, not the un, not human rights counsil, no arab nation, not america will lend an ear. it seems to me they like being blind and in their blindness and anti israel right toexist, blaming us for an unjust occupation, and for all the ills of the arabs everywhere, your suggestion can bark up a tree. no one listens to the jews. no one comes to their defense. you can scream look, look, arabs are doing this. and the world will be silent....an enforced dumbness!

i wonder what would the fate of the palestinian arabs would have been if the 1967 war didn't occure. if the 7 arab armies didn't declare a total war on israel. if the arabs didn't amass their armies with soviets' help to plan and destroy us. i wonder where would the palestinian arabs be today? you got it!!!! the word palestinians wouldn't have existed because they didn't exist as a nation prior to 1967 egypt and jordan will still rule gaza and west bank respectively without any rebelions by the palis in those terrotories since they never rebeled when under jordanian rule and egyptian rule. the word state of the palis was not invented prior to 1967, after which both egypt and jordan were only too happy to get rid of their palestitian arabs in these self made refugee camps. better israel deal with a criminal element than egypt and jordan....this way they ensured no rebelions against their totalitarian autocratic regimes. boy how the palestinians were used as a murder knife and tool by both egypt and jordan.....two moderate states????

Pictures of this poor people are circulating here in South Africa showing a bad treatment Israelis can do to children, men being asked to undress to their underwears.
