The son's of Israel worked as slaves in Egypt for 430 years. Some of the new born were murdered in the Nile (Exodus Chapter 1). Around 600,000 men plus women and children left Egypt after the 430 year period (Exodus Chapter 12). With interest the compensations to Israel should be in the multi trilions of dollars.

This is an entirely different case. The Cecil Hotel was stolen from Egyptian Jews. The Egyptian government can't claim anything. Any property it had in Israel was enemy property and legitimately exproriated. Besides, Egypt should be made to pay reparations for its part in that war.

There is no way to compare the Cecil Hotel and the King David. The Metzgers were expelled from Egypt for being Jewish and their property seized by the government. The King David was transfered following a war of agression in which Egypt became and remained a volatile enemy state with no connections to Israel. The Bank may have the right to resume it's "share ownership" - but compound interest? Based on Estimates?
