3. Israel too stupid to defeat Hamas
Marcel ,   Florida   (06.30.07)
A repeat of the Olmert failure to reach a much needed victory over Hizbollah last year. Israel's disaster policy of relying on the international community will bring much suffering and death to the nation. You have forgotten the concept of victory over your enemies and this will cost you. Rather than deal a death blow to this enemy ,Israel will wait until they are an even greater threat to the nation. Olmert and the left are too stupid, too weak and so the people of Israel WILL suffer .
4. #3 Marcel - as usual you are spot on
(06.30.07)
I almost cant stand to read or watch the news about Israel anymore. Its too frustrating - the country almost deserves what its getting - or ABOUT TO GET from its enemies. Pathetic. Pure bullshit.
5. Multinational Group

of tourist-observers will do as much good in Gaza as they have done in Lebanon. They have all the power of a mouse, and the objectivity of the UN.
6. #3 is right
Fox   (06.30.07)
We are lucky that the Hammas is more stupid than the Israeli government. As such Israel has to stay silent and let the barbarian leadership of Hammas to do the mistakes, like in the Gulf war.
7. BottomLine:: Hamas(Muslim Brotherhood) violent organization!

9. HAMAS is only LEGITIMATE Government of Palestine
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (06.30.07)
Abbas is not authorized to appoint any other Prime Ministers as there is already existing one. Abbas has no legal impeachment right against Prime Minister. They should react any international coalition of Zionist imperialism with their legitimate self defence, What is more Hamas should not wait and wage military campaign to control other parts of Palestine and hold Abbas and bring before Judge, beside blatant betrayal to Palestine, Who knows he may be also raping some woman around, just look out some!

..all the point dear - Israel is functioning democracy, and civilized society. Meaning, political parties don't have "military wings", don't declare genocidal goals, and don't pursue the enslavement of the population by retrograde ideology. Yeah, install French for the time of elections there. People know by example of Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia, Taliban, etc. - and from their own experience, - how good it is to be a cattle under the rule of clerical fascists, or under any other revolutionary romantics. The only problem is, - they still have no choice. Or PLO or Hamas - shameful, miserable alternative.
11. Why being bothered?
(06.30.07)
Close all gates with Israel land and let them handle by themselves. No electricity, no water, no nothing. That's what they want, no?
12. INTL. FORCE WILL NEVER ENTER GAZA, THIS IS JUST TALK
David P. ,   Central Coast, USA   (06.30.07)
No Way would an Intl. force go where its not wanted, especially Gaza considered the a--hole of the world. Tell me of one European country willing to loose life to protect the terrorists living in Gaza from themselves.
13. Hamas & jihad are no Mickey Mice, they are jumbo sewer rats!
Uzi ,   Haifa   (06.30.07)
And Fatah are exactly the same species.
14. Stop obsessing about Hamas
Canadian Otter   (06.30.07)
As an enemy, I'll choose Hamas over Fatah any time. They are straightforward, they mean what they say. The ones we should worry about is Fatah, with their lies, their own terrorist wing, the Al Aqsa Terrorist Brigade, and their suits and double talk. They are even more dangerous!!! Fatah are being used by Bush and the Arabs to deprive Israel of its land in the name of "moderate Arabs who will, maybe, someday, recognize Israel and live in peace, side by side", and all that nonsense. Deceit is often more dangerous than outright aggression. And we ought to question the US intentions as well. If they love Israel so much, why do they pressure it to give up land, why are they arming Israel's enemies such as the Egyptians and Saudis, why are they making Israel release Fatah terrorists only to supply them with more weapons??? Who are Israel's worse enemies?
15. International troops are anyway a bad idea...
Bernd ,   Germany   (06.30.07)
...since they would only serve as cover for the terrorists. See Lebanon. Bernd, Germany, Old Europe
16. The very notion of allowing an Intl. Force on Jewish land is
Tracy W   (06.30.07)
very dangerous. That's why Lieberman and Netanyahu are so mistaken. They don't grasp the ramifications of even calling for an international force in Gaza or for Jordanian troops in the WB. The UN is discredited for its anti-Israel performance in Lebanon. The IDF is the very best in the whole world. Maybe others are better equipped, but the IDF is the one that has the heart, courage and intelligence to defend Israel. They are extremely capable. They defuse thousands of terrorist plots before they happen. They manage to target and shoot terrorists riding in cars. They are amazing. The very idea of replacing them with foreign forces is insulting. And coming from Israeli leaders is even more so. Gaza is still Jewish territory, occupied by Hamas, but still Israel's. Now the talk is of Jordanian troops in the WB. That must never be allowed either.

on Israel's borders. The votes in the UN against Israel are usually everbody against Israel except the USA. Anti-Israeli forces with better weapons than Hamas or other terrorists is not a comfort because on a monent's notice, the multinational forces can be ordered to invade or attack Israel when the USA is no longer in the Security Council to block that. The Prophet Daniel said the notable horn will break after Media-Persia is subdued. The notable horn could not be Alexander because Greece was not the westernmost nation and Alexander did not have airplanes. Look at chapter 8 closely and you will see it is happening in our lifetimes. After Iran is subdued, the notable horn will break. A horn can be a symbol of a military power or a king. "Nostradamus and the War with Iran" is a book by John Hogue that translates the famous French physician seer Nostradamus' predictions on a war with Iran: the ships in the Arabian Sea (Persian Gulf) will sink. There are many American aircraft carrier groups there, now, with no protection from Russian made Sunburn nuclear tipped missiles that fly under radar, the Russians will probably give to the Iranians as they have to theChinese. Ezekiel the Prophet in chapter 32 may also be describing the breaking of the notable horn. The multitude (military) of a young lion nation divided by the rivers, metered geometric farms) and peeled (shaven) will be destroyed by a sword of the king of Babylon. The ELS Bible codes say the weapons of mass destruction that were in Iraq are buried in the Bakka Valley of Lebanon. Those may be the weapons that will be used to destroy the multitude of a young lion nation.

AGREE 100% Abbas has allready spotted this weakness and iss trying to take advantage of the fact that the US & Israel are trying to jump into bed with him because he is a so called moderate. Olmert has given him tax money and nothing has changed politcly only the fact that Hamas have chased Fatah out of Gaza .. a palestian internal issue. Olmert as agreed to release prisoners and now Abbas is asking for Marwan Bargouti just a few months ago even Olmert didnt want to do .. now it looks like its just a matter of time before Olmert surrnders to the damands of the moderate. Abbas wants peace talks to resume imidiatly not because the nam wants peace but because he belives at this time he can ask for just about everything and because he is the moderate who needs to be strenghened against Hamas Olmert will say thats a great idea. He tries to ignore the fact that the Al Aska Brigdes are part of Fatah and they havnt agreed to end their war but there have been no demands placed on Abbas to do anything about them. The position seems to have become if they are not Hamas they are peacemakers. Also if Olmert is so concerned about Hamas why isnt he doing anything to deal with them .. there have been no blockades on fuel, electricity is running without interuption, all food and water supplies are going in and out, Israel ios even opening its borders to anybody wanting to leave Gaza. While Olmert is playing the humanitarian the rockets continue to be fired, Gilad Shalit is still a hostage and instead of taking advatage of the current situation by telling Hamas no Shalit no electricty or any other services all you can have is basic food aid and thats in the name of humaitarian causes. How long till Hamas start worrying about other things other than prisoners .. soon there will be in the dark and walking because their cars dont run and eating only cold food because there will be no way of cooking the essentials they have been given, Soon enough the residents of Gaza are going to be saying to Hamas give them back their soilder and end the attacks this way we can at least live some kind of life. Olmert should also be saying for every rocket fired then the electrucuty will be cut 1 day and fresh fuel supplies will be cut for 1 week. so if they fire 3 rockets thats 3 days without electricty and 3 weeks of no fuel Olmert needs to stop trying to play the humaintarian with Hamas in Gaza and trying to court Abbas because he is the so called moderate no matter what the price to be paid is that doesnt make peace its shows weakness which the arabs will not hesitate to take advantage of.
