not too impressive.... these types of actions will not serve to deter potential security risks in the future. What kind of weak, lily livered governments allow the likes of bishara to flee, so as not to deal with the issue at hand. Why consider parole for this guy who betrayed his people to their worst enemy? What kind of leaders are left to make the type of hard decisions that must be taken along the road ahead (the road map to Israelis demise) wtf is going on over there?
2. BASELESS JUDGEMENT BY ANY STANDARD

An individual who has been in prison since 1997 cannot do much harm. One can imagine the progress made since that time, much more by the Israelis than the Iranians,of course. What would Iran obtain from his outdated information he may still possess. And why do the authorities in Israel have to assume that he has not spilled out everything he was supposedly destined to give it to the Iranians?Instead, keep on the look out for some new guys who could have followed the footsteps of this 'convict'.
3. Treason

This person Manbar is a clear and present danger to Israel should he ever be released from prison. In any other country in the world treason is punishable by death, life in Prison without parole. This person must never be allowed to go free, becaus ethe first thing he will do is to betray Israel again!! Shoot him!!!!!

6. Isn't treason punishable by death?
Micha   (07.06.07)
So too is it for terrorists against the state of Israel. Look at what arab countries do to spies. Perhaps Jews are just too kind.
7. manbar should NEVER be released
dante ,   uk   (07.06.07)
this pathetic creature "without moral inhibitions" poses a threat to the State and should never see the light of day. while this incorrigible swine is a guest of the State, he should be put to hard labour: no work, no food. it is intolerable that the People of Israel should support this creature for even a single minute.
