Do we wait until 2009 to see what happens or do we act and pre-empt a possible nuclear attack by Iran??? Ahmadinejad has played his cards. It is up to us to see whther he is bluffing or not.

This is not about Iran and the US or Iran and Israel. For example, At a strategy meeting some months ago, plans were finalised on Irans response to and Israeli or US attack. Irans first reponse would be to close the Hormuz, and send missiles into Kuwaiti, Emirate and Saudi oilfields. As one of the top Iranian military officials claimed.. 'so that the US and the world would come to us to beg and grovel for our oil' Either way, with nuclear blackmail or as a response to an attack Irans objective would be to destroy world energy supplies. Perhaps theve been reading too much James Bond but what it does show is that Irans behaviour should concern everyone.

DR,you are under misapprehension if you believe that Iran has not been able to cover likely sanctions to follow.Everything seems to have been placed in order and any eventuality will be answered more strongly.In the span of almost two decades,the Iranians knew of possible reaction to the Nuclear issue and have made tremendous progress which is now too late for the West to stop.I have been strongly recommending to you and your likes to absorb the reality,open dialogue with Iran,restore the lost confidence they have witnessed for that long time and accept the balance in the Middle East political scenerio.

They haven't developed the weapons yet have they, and they must not! as soon as they do they will attack Israel, make no mistake. The US must, and I'm sure they will, take out as much of there facilities as possible, now! and when they try to start up again take it out again. There is no talking to Ahmadinejad, he's mad! It's not the Iranians fault but if they had elected a decent leader then we wouldn't fear Iran so much. He proved this when he illegally abducted our soldiers and then paraded them on tv falsley confessing due to duress, he knows Britain is a soft touch and won't retaliate, I wish they would have done it to US soldiers then he would pay!

If the world does nothing and Iran obtains nuclear weapons and then proceeds to threaten or attack other countries (Israel for example), what would you think??? Would you be happy? Would you be upset that we let another regime kill people? Please share you thoughts!!!

Iranians are not what the few countries trying to portray.They have stood up against hegemony,dominance and have gone far to achieve independence for the Palestinian people.They have nothing to do with Israel as a state,you must remember.Time will prove that.But the mere imbalance of power in the Middle East allowed few interested countries to excercise and get away with whatever THEY thought was right.No longer will that be tolerated.And, as it is,it is you and me who are just concluding that Iran is going for a Nuclear weapons.Supposing they dont?supposing they lead a movement to ensure demilitarisation and destruction of Nuclear weapons in the long run,what would be your reaction to it?All possibilities are there?Arent they?Why stick to your thoughts of one-way direction in believing that they are going ahead with acquiring these deadly weapons?

There is nothing you can do to remedy this situation in short term without causing a large war in which you shall lose as americans. So next time vote with care so we dont get another BUSH. That results in a milder world which in turn results in less of Ahmadinejad-like figures being elected. Otherwise get ready for WAR!
