1. Israel has the most honnest left in world
Cordier   (07.11.07)
Israel has the most honnest left in world. I don t remember a single prominent leftist or oslo-peace camp member judged for corruption... The sole exception was Ramon but he wanted to make change in the justice ministry... I admire the exceptionnal left who exist in israel and notably the members of Meretz who are so honnest, so pure, so candid that never procureurs who everybody know are politcally neutrals has found anything against them. I admire the israeli arab politicians who are also models of honesty and fight against corruption. bravo the israeli left, you are the models of all the leftists movements in the world !!!!!

5. What Naomi did is NO CRIME compared to others roaming free
Sid   (07.12.07)
It is time we all woke up to the fact that Naomi was indited on the grounds that she acted in her normal benevolent fashion rather than like the corrupt way of the leading politicians both present and past. Would any other Knesset member take a member of the public to the Knesset dining room and offer them a meal because they had just completed a long journey and heavy day and had not eaten - I bet not unless they saw some gain in it for themselves - but in the case described above Naomi had nothing to gain.

8. Unless...
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (07.12.07)
the courts come down wickedly hard on political corruption and graft, such unethical behavior will continue among our elected officials. The entire moral fabric of a just society is ruined by even a little stain. The just society cannot and must not accept even "two black" hairs on its hide. Unless the courts slam with harshness even misdemeanors like what this lady did and make examples of her and other public figures, our government will continue to be infested with the dishonest and the immoral.
