Quoted official said "We hoped that those slated for release would be of higher quality." Meaning that they actually succeeded in slaughtering a sizable number of Israelis? I guess the irony of linking "quality" and "palestinian terrorists" is lost on him. Sort of like telling a joke to your dog I suppose.

Israel doe NOT HAVE to do this, so the palis should stop complaining and be happy that their beloved terrorists are released without any pre-conditions! Yet they have the chuzpah to complain and attack! If I give a present to my son and he he dares to complain, the gift goes out the window. So it should be in this case. What about Hamas and Hezbollah releasing our kidnapped soldiers as a sign of good faith? Now THAT will not happen because Muslims have NO GOOD FAITH when dealing with non-Mulsims. If I think well, they have no good faith when dealing among themselves! There is no amount of appeasing that will get us anywhere with the Muslims.
