It is a well documented fact that the Fatah members have more than one gun. It's not as if they're registered gun owners, so it's hard to monitor if they turn in all of their guns. Additionally, calling this a 'hand over' is disingenuous. They are SELLING their guns for MARKET PRICE + AMNESTY, getting over 50,000 NIS for some rifles. This deal is RIDICULOUS, and endangers Israelis.

I give them some credit for being homest. Does anyone really believe that those who gave up their arms received their bonus, signed the paper renoucing terror and getting newer and better arms to be part of the regular militia really will stop terror against Israel? Yes, Olmert and President Bush . It is naive to believe this and Israel will regret this as she has other foolish moves before.. But of course Bush is determined for there to be a Palestinian State no matter what the consequences for Israel and his little puppet Olmert will go along . Peres is already committed.

As long as ther is an occupation, there will be resistance. Those who give up arms in this struggle will been looked upon as cowards or traitors. The majority will not...
