I have no problem honoring the King if the stories about his benefiscence toward the Jews be true. But methinks some of what he is purported to have done may be as true as the myth of the Danes. The myth is that the King of Denmark wore a Star of David to show solidarity with Danish Jews; the reality is that the Germans did not require Danish Jews to wear a Star of David, and the King of Denmark had no reason to do so and did not. The King of Morocco may not have deported Jews at the behest of the French Government; however, I understand that during his WW II reign, Morocco had its share of pogroms during which dozens of Jews were killed. Contrast this with Bulgaria. Though a Nazi ally, as many Bulgarian Jews survived WW II as were Jews living in Bulgaria before WW II.

Protect each other starting from the point that we are all Moroccan. While Jews were targeted arround every were , King Mohammed V Alerted the Moroccan people of their duties to protect theirs targeted brother and sister and we all did it. You may criticize our "apartheid", but give evidence to support you if you are going to do so! We have a huge number of Arab MKs and Arab citizens in Israel that have the same opportunities open to them as Jews. I don't see the apartheid.

Throughout history, arabs were the only people sympathetic to the jews and they coexisted and offered them asylym from the crusaders of europe (spain, germany, france etc...). Europeans have always killed and abused the jews till WW2 but arabs and moslims offered them shelter. Until zionism came and ruined this relationship. Jews were ungrateful to the arabs and moslims.

If what you say is true, then why did most Jews live in Europe and lands under Christian control? The population of Jews in the Moslem world 100 years ago, before Israel, was under 1 million. Second, among the Moslems themselves, it is the Arabs who were the most anti-Jewish. Jews were more tolerated under the Ottoman Turks, Persians, Kurdish Saladin, Andalusian Berbers than under the Arabs themselves. It was the Arabs that eliminated Jews from the Arabian peninsula at the dawn of Islam, remember. And by the way, it was the Moslems who first started massacring Jews in Spain, in 1066.
