Well. I don't think that is the civilized way to communicate, if I am not a fan of this guy and I don’t think he is the best in that position but still I see much more stupid leaders (Bush and Blair are two good examples) who didn’t get bullets in their heads Thousands and thousands were killed because of them but you will call it terrorism if someone just burned their pics maybe I don’t think you are even from England because I can accept such kind of comments from someone in Afghanistan maybe or who has lived all his life in cave maybe.. I think, what Assad, in his heart of heart, really wants is to be left alone by everybody, get a pat on the head now and then, to have a nice, quiet life and for everybody to just keep sending money. What bedevils the poor guy are all those strings attached to that money and everybody wanting him to stir up sh-t of one kind or the other on their behalf, leaving him to catch hell from everywhere. Sounds good, doesn't it? :-)

NOT ONE WAR CASUALTY NEED OCCUR .AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE PRESIDENT PERES SHOULD BE INVITED TO MAKE A HEAD OF STATE VISIT TO SYRIA AND IRAN.SIMILIARLY THEIR HEAD OF STATES MUST VISIT ISRAEL IN LIKE GESTURE .WE CANNOT PERMIT OUR LEADERS TO CONTINUE TO LEAD GENERATION AFTER GENERATION INTO WAR. SOLVING THE PROBLEMS OF THE REGION WILL DEMONSTRATE THAT TRADITIONAL MIDDLE EASTERN HOSPITALITY IS NOT A THING OF THE PAST . IT IS BUT A SMALL STEP FOR MANKIND ,BUT WHO WILL BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO MAKETHE FIRST MOVE, THAT IS THE QUESTION

Assad is actually pretty smart, serves him well that everybody chronically underestimates him.

Assad is indeed preparing for war with Iran's help and not to forget Russia's which has been Syria's patron for decades as well as Iran's. The US failure to follow up the departure of Syrian troops from Lebanon with consistent pressure against it giving sanctuary to Baathists and others attacking post Sadaam Iraq and its allowing Syria to get off the hook after it counterattacked via its murders of Lebanese opponents simply reinforced Assad 's looking to Russia and Iran for arms and money without fear. And Israel's inability to make Syria pay for last summer was further reinforcement.
