the best friend of the Islamists. lol I dont think that UK is best friend of Islamist , Uk has been always friend of Zionists , Seems u dont forget that Uk was also behind the Israeli nuclear program . Transfered 20 planes before Israel declared itself an Independent country .. More over the Balfour Declaration which was the main base for Establishment of Israel . Why Israelis are always unthankful to UK ,France and UN ?
9. 2 b or not 2 b!
Palestinian   (07.26.07)
its a shame that its taking the UK so long to recognise the only legitimate and democratically elected government in Palestine... its time we stop dealings with the bullshiiters of Fatah and its corrupt leaders Abbass, DahLAN and cos!

israeli ,   israel   (07.26.07)
you boycott us, you side with our enemies and you still think we are planning to spend our hard-earned money in perfidious Albion? Especially now, during the Deluge?
11. Hamas...u can't ignore in the Middle East
Mohammad ,   Al Quds   (07.26.07)
If you do, you will ignore a big portion of the Palestinian people, both in Palestine and out of it. Britain got this message early and acts upon it. Free Occupied Palestine Now

You're talking about history. The people of the UK are now proud to be anti-American and anti-Israel.

from no. 1   (07.26.07)
as for the UK... things change. maybe 20-30 years ago the UK supported Israel (though i'm not so sure about that...) but now the UK has "other interests" I guess... and supporting Israel is not one of them unfortunately. as for France... i don't want even to start talking about it... everybody knows which side France supports. as for the UN, with an automatic majority of arab countries against Israel in every decision, it's kinda hard to see how the UN can ever support Israel. oh well... at least the US and Micronesia support us ! :) I love Micronesia ! I wish i can live there :)
15. To #14

17. Therefore, Hashem gives them floods.
R.Alkalai ,   USA   (07.26.07)
18. Israel is being abandoned
John ,   London,UK   (07.26.07)
This clearly shows that Israel is doomed. Secret ties with Hamas is proof that west has now realised that Israel is the biggest problem in war on terror. I think it is safe to say that even US is secretly approving links with Hamas and Syria. Tony Blair has never stopped his links with Hamas. Britain is a natural ally of the Palestinians. Now as envoy Blair will be in a position to give Arabs what they wanted for 60 years. Blair will certainly fight for all the rights of Palestinians which he could not do in office. I think Israel is being set up for huge defeat. Saudis are likey to use their oil millions to make Blair force Israel give up Jerusalem and entire west bank. Wait and see.
19. To #17
True Brit ,   The UK   (07.26.07)
Yes we are SO guilty of the world's evils we get floods - just one thing, seems New York has very similar floods so USA must be guilty too according to your theory - wake up, dear !!

John ,   London   (07.26.07)
You can keep your cockroach infested country ! You are welcome to it ! I prefer civilisation
21. #8, as I said before, give it up man
Danny   (07.26.07)
you just make yourself look stupid. We saw your claims about rockets "blowing roofs off" and so your credibility as a military "expert" goes out the window... UK was "behind the Israeli nuclear program"? I think you'll find it was the French. Transfered 20 planes before Israeli independence? I think you'll find that the UK imposed an arms embargo. Balfour declaration was the main base for "establishment of Israel"? I think you'll find that the French and Faisal - of the Arab revolt - made the same declarations and BEFORE the Balfour Declaration. You'll also find that immigration only shot up in the 1930's - due to the Nazis and Stalin - and the Brits pretty quickly shut it down, severely limiting immigration in 1936 and in practise shutting it down completely. You'll also find the Brits fought on the side of the Arabs in 1948 - specifically in the Arab Legion of Jordan and in Egypt after their invoked the mutual defence pact with Cairo. But as we all knew, facts are forever a stranger to you.... Save it for the next Palestinian Solidarity Meeting, at least there when you show your utter ignorance you'll be in good company
22. #7, you'd rather have people trying to
Danny   (07.26.07)
blow up your clubs and airports? Well I hope they eventually do get your entire family leaving just you to post how the UK should appease Islamic terrorists.... Of course by opposing Islamic terrorists we are the fascists, not the suicide bombers
23. 20: Don't be silly, Israel is probably more civilized the UK
tomer ,   Kfar Saba   (07.26.07)
And surely more technologically advanced. so keep your arrogance and ignorant ideas where it belongs - the BBC forums.
24. #7, you would better be careful who you call fascist.
Uzi ,   Haifa   (07.26.07)
I clearly remember a British bayoneted rifle stuck at my face at the age of five, during Israel's struggle against British occupation. The British committed gross violations of human rights during their mandate in Palestine between 1918 and 1948. They abused the Jews and the Arabs as well as the terms of their mandate from the League of Nations. And yes, history doesn't stop most of us from visiting or even staying in Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, France, Belgium, the UK, etc.
25. John, #20
israeli ,   israel   (07.26.07)
That's exactly what we want, to keep our country, cockroach infested or not. Keep your "civilised" British noses out of our business!
26. Londonistan, and Eurabia support hamas? astounded right?
norman-englishguy ,   Britonland   (07.26.07)
I'm not...I cant walk through the streets in walthamstowe without people (arabs, pakis, indians) looking at me as if I dont belong there. And muttering between themselves. And my anscestors have been there more then 1000 years
27. when hamas changes everybody else will change
zionist forever   (07.27.07)
Releasing Alan Johnston might have brought a little gratitude from the British lft wing but it changes nothing as far as government policy goes and the deputy consul thinking him means nothing the role of the concoul is to go and shake hands and smile not make policy. I would have thought that Haniyeh would be angry considering it was only the DEPUTY coucoul who came to thank him. There are over 300 members of parliament 20 out of 300 isnt exactly a sign that the attitude towards Hamas is changing and saying that that Hamas will never recognise Israel doesnt do alot to help encourage support for Hamas to grow. Hamas are also one of the main reasons why things like the wall and conflisactaion of the Jordan Vally have occured .. the word is SECURITY Hamas have carried out hundreds of terror attacks over the past 15 years increasing the need for security. When Hamas recognise Israel and end the terror then they see changes of international policies towards Hamas and palestian state its creation will happen through diplomacy ketusha rockets and suicide bombings will only make things worse for the palestians.

zionist forever   (07.27.07)
I think you will find that once we get rid of Olmert and please G-D get a compitent man like Natanyahu Blair will find he doesnt have the kind of influence he would like to think. Blair is no longer PM which means he is no longer in a position to make government policies Gordon Brown or David Cameron they will make their own policies if they think what Blair wants dosnt suit their politcal interests they will say no. The US are the only ones with any influence in this conflict and we are going into an ellection year which is not a time when the US likes to get into bed to deeply with the arabs as both parties want the jewish vote and the campaign funds from jews. Palestians dont have that kind of influence especialy under George Bush who is fighting a personal crusade against terror. Tony Blair was given this job not because he was the best man for the job but to give him somehing to do after he stood down as primeminister.
29. John, what gives you cause to believe all that you’ve writt
(07.27.07)
First of all, Israel is “not doomed” Israel’s future is very bright indeed. “Britain is the natural ally of the Palestinians”. This is big news to me and most Brits I know. It’s not Blair’s brief to “fight for all the rights of the “Palestinians”. He is there to prepare the “Palestinians” for statehood, whatever that means. Now this is the process that’s doomed because these people are "natural allies" amongst themselves, never mind Israel. So if it ever gets off the ground, it willbe just another terror state. Wait and see:)
30. Excellent news , if they could sit with the sin fein then
Leyla   (07.27.07)
