I have read that Canada combined their military services like that, so that they have Army titles instead of traditional Navy titles. Sometimes people try to end the separation of services in America, too, to save money and avoid redundancy. But as former US President Harry Truman said long ago, "The US Marine Corps has a propaganda machine that would rival Stalin's". Stalin was a Premier of Soviet Russia long ago, in Truman's day. The US Marine Corps usually is able to stop the effort to eliminate it and the other separate services in efforts to join them into one service. In Canada there might be Admirals, but the ranks up to that are like Army ranks I have read, not being Canadian.

Navy is small service with little money and not so important actually. Its mainly for defensive purposes. main three parts of idf are air force, army, and intelligence in hebrew we dont bother with different ranks for different services. everyone the same and that way you always know who higher than you and who lower, not matter where he come from

Agreed,Dany that C802 is 20 years old.So, we also agree that had the naval officers kept the system on they would have traced the oncoming 20 years old missiles.Fine.Why, then are we creating such a hue and cry about Iranian abilities?If 20 years technologies are in their possession,well,let us take care of it.
