I pity the mother of the killed soldier. Terrorsists deserve death nothing more nothing less. We should never ever deal with them. ONCE YOU DEAL WITH THEM YOU BECOME THE LOSER. If one was to look over the past 22 years of allowing oursleves to give into terror, the results speak for themselves. 1) This man had a trial, and was properly found guilty. Gilad and the others didn't, because they committed no crime. 2) This man committed a crime, the purposeful killing of non-combatants (yes, soldiers are sometimes non-combatants). Gilad and the others didn't commit any crimes, nor were they charged with any. 3) This guy was in prison serving a sentence. Gilad and the others are in prison simply as bargaining chips to release Palestinians who have committed similar crimes to this guy. 4) This guy's family could visit. They knew his status, his health, and he could speak to them. Gilad and the others are afforded no such priviledges. There is no comparison between our soldiers and this terrorist. He was not a prisoner of war, but a piece of terrorist scum, like all those who support him. He should have summarily hunted and killed the same way that terrorists were at the time of Golda Meir, with no more mercy than you Palestinians give to the peace operatives you call "collaborators".
