1. Using Israel as "joker"
Alex ,   LA, USA   (08.05.07)
Bush administration already gave up on Israel for two reasons. The crash of Israel by Hiznullah last summer and the Democrats support of Arabs. The aim of Bush is to hold another 6 months the Democrat opposition. Since the Democrats are openly anti-Israel with Clinton a paid agent of Dubai (I mean Bill but they are one team), Bush has no choice as to press Israel because you always press the weak link, i.e., Olmert's very weak gov't.
2. Bush and the Saudis
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (08.05.07)
While President Bush kowtows to the potbellied Oil Sheikhs he doesn't see the daggers under those golden robes pointed at the heart of the USA! The Bush Administration might consider assessing how much American hardware has and will be given by his "allies" to Al Qaeda and the not so US friendly terrorist organizations. He seems to have chosen to put his head in the sand and not to remember that weapons given to the Palestinians by Israel, as a result of US pressure, resulted in those very weapons being turned on Israeli soldiers. President Bush, if you want to conquer the Middle East to safeguard the World's oil supply, then please say so and stop this nonsense about bring Democracy to these countries. Mr. President, no one has given you the right to change the political systems in other countries. However, I am sure that if you were honest about your aims, you would gain a lot of support from all over the World!
3. Israel needs to produce its own
D ,   Israel   (08.05.07)
Israel should start producing its own arcraft, aircraft carriers, submarines, tanks, warships (which they all ready do). And stop depending on the US for this and for that.
4. heres a little quiz for you all...
jack bauer ,   usa   (08.06.07)

OK: a-Russia b-China c-France d-Great Britain answer: These are all wrong. These are the American military forces eliminated during the Clinton-Gore administration. You know the ones not available to relieve our over-deployed Guard and Reserve units.
5. 30 billion of aid
eloise Lanum ,   Half Moon Bay,Ca.   (08.06.07)
American taxpayers are again being forced by our govt. to give military aid to Israel - as a sop. When will it ever end!
6. To # 3

i suggest you know the facts before shooting your erroneous mouth off. the merican congress and bush LOAN these monies to israel and make it, affordable percentage wise, to repay thiese loans at a lower percantage. every penny of this loan is payed back by israel to the banks that loaned them the money. nothing, i rfepeat, nothing, comes out of your taxpaying monies in the usa. nothing affects you and your money personally and nothing in this aid affects the taxes of any other american here. it can become your problem only if israel defaults on these loans and doesn't pay for them.....which has NEVER EVER HAPPENED! so, i suggest you research this before you talk. i know i am right because i used to work in such banks and dealt with such loans. they were loans, not free aid. read and familiarize yourself with the facts in this matter instead of spewing some of your anti israel rhetoric here. sotty to disappoint you, but your knowledge in this issue is nil!
9. To #5: Call it insurance
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (08.06.07)
Would your Generals in Iraq and Afghanistan be happy if they did not know that the "biggest and most stable aircraft carrier in the world" is sitting on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea? The is the definition of Israel by General Norman Schwarzkopf during Gulf War I. This little “pond” is not exactly the friendliest place in the world for the US Navy. Actually, there aren't any friendly places for your guys in Europe or the Pacific either! You bias against Israel is obvious as you don't seem to complain about the wasted Taxpayers' money being thrown away in two no win wars - Iraq and Afghanistan and the aid given to Saudi Arabia and Egypt which could, one day be turned against your own forces. I would suggest that you look on the $30 Billion as insurance that you will not be paying $10 a gallon of gas for your car in the near future!
