2. The driver going wild? What a notion
Benet   (08.12.07)
a Palestinian losing his temper? Unheard of. There must be something wrong in the translation.
3. So called peace activists
Pete ,   Bat Yam   (08.12.07)
The IDF has every reason to suspect these people of transferring contraband to the arabs. There have been countless incidents where explosives have been found in produce and animals carcases. How many more dead Jews do we need to convince the left that the arabs do NOT want peace?
4. Humiliating?
Ruvy in Jerusalem   (08.12.07)
What was humiliating was the vicious anti-Jewish piece in this paper about Hebron. What is humiliating is that this paper gives headline status to the whining ofd a bunch of "peace" activists - self hating Israelis who in one form look like they're being charitable, and who the next call us in "non-green-lin" Israel a cancer in the country. These people - and their supporters - ought to be expelled from this country. We don't need them.
5. IDF
Steffan ,   Poland   (08.12.07)
With all the videos available on "youtube" I'm not the least bit surprised on how Israeli soldiers behave. Israelis give us a real bad name, their behavior doesn't help us in Europe or America.
6. Stop calling them peace activists
Frank ,   Canada   (08.12.07)
These guys are not peace activists, they are not working for peace but they are jihadists useful idiots.
7. Security Check of Clothing is Humiliating???
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.12.07)
Why did the soldiers pick up the equipment? The Arab truck driver should have picked up the equipment - he was the one who threw the equipment on the ground.
8. The self-professed "peaceniks" are the fascists of Israel
Gail ,   USA   (08.12.07)
9. The delusional "peace activists" want to destroy Israel
Dave ,   USA   (08.12.07)
so that they move to Norway or the USA. They must be treated as the terrorists who terrorize the state and the glorious IDF.
10. Long live the IDF. Shame on the "activists"!
Victor ,   USA   (08.12.07)
The activists represent cancer. They are viral.
11. Export the activists to the 22 Arab states
Barry ,   USA   (08.12.07)
Export them to Ramallah!
12. To IDF: Please be strong. Do not pay attention at them
Damian ,   USA   (08.12.07)
The "activists" are drek!
13. Let me get this straight
Mark ,   Georgia, USA   (08.12.07)
The IDF supervised "part of the transfer from Israeli trucks to Palestinian trucks. Then when they wanted to do a complete check this is a humilation, am I getting this right? When the soldiers had the bags opened they emptied the clothes onto the ground. This makes the clothes unwearable and ruined, and why is that again? Because the clothes touch the ground they can never be worn? Pallywood strikes again. What nonsense. Of course Buma Inbar was there to take pictures of the IDF doing a typical search and - bingo - another non-story, story! I'm sure you all will get over this horrid humiliation. Mark from Georgia
14. Peace Now humiliates itself by its actions
RA   (08.12.07)
It doesn't need any help from the IDF.
15. TIME TO SYMPATHIZE? LEMME CHECK MY DATEBOOK...
stude ham   (08.12.07)
Hmmm.. can we do it next week?
16. poor babies!
Nathan ,   Canada   (08.12.07)
Aw, the poor activists, who were humiliated. Better to not have good security to keep terrorists out. These activists can't be very committed if they're upset by embarrassment. Or maybe their whole point is to embarrass Israel. What are these "peace activists" doing to promote peace by the Palestinians?
17. Clothing on the Ground
Bill ,   USA   (08.12.07)
"“The soldiers made us open the bags of clothing, and emptied them on the ground. It was extremely humiliating, I don’t know if we can still use the clothes,” said Ahmed Shataiyeh, a Palestinian peace activist." Yeah, I don't know if I can still use my clothes once they get dirty. I'm humiliated!! (it makes me violent)
18. synthetic outrage to preclude future security checks
dante ,   uk   (08.12.07)
the outrage is completely contrived and is designed to induce timidity in the Israelis so that they will not conduct future searches. the arabs that oppose Israel are, of course, enemies. the Jews are in some cases enemies and in all cases fools.
19. Something beautiful
James   (08.12.07)
Buma Inbar, God bless you. Youa re a generous man of peace
20. more of it ! it's burning anger not vented one
(08.12.07)
21. i wouldn't put it past the palestinian peace activists
aaron ,   ra'anana   (08.12.07)
to hide bombs in children's clothing they already send children on terror attacks, and transport explosive belts inside ambulances with chronically ill child patients inside.
22. No. 5 Steffan
NYC Girl   (08.12.07)
Isn't it interesting that every little perceived transgression on the part of the IDF causes embarassment to people like you, yet the murderous, primitive behavior by some Palestinians never seems to cause one iota of humiliation on the part of their countrymen.
23. clothes are no good because they are dirty
zionist forever   (08.12.07)
Those so called peace actavists go out of their way to make the jobs the soilders have to do more difficult how can anybody blame them for turning the tables. I also hardly think that these clothes will no longer be usablke because they have been thrown on the floor have a little bit of dust on them. It works both ways peace actavists make life hard for soilders so soilders respons by making life hard for the actvists.
24. it souds like
rhoda ruta ,   tel aviv   (08.12.07)
oi oi oi.........
25. Strange
Ramsis II ,   Cairo   (08.13.07)
Why is it that on most forums the Americans seem more aggressive than people directly involved in the conflict? Is it violent movies or crack or collective trigger-happy xenophobia? I don't really know, but militant Americans scare me, more so than militant Israelis. As for the article, it's hard to tell how bad it was by just reading the words. You need a video to judge that sort of thing. It could have been humiliating, all it takes is conducting the search in a way that makes you feel inferior. Right now there's one grinning bastard reading "inferior" and thinking "damn right". Yes, you with the god complex and the hollier than thou dogma. Many innocents die, but when you do you won't be one.
