1. huh?
C.D. Yehoshua ,   tel aviv   (08.12.07)
Shlomo Brom...believes that the political and security scenarios in the Gaza Strip could have been predicted before Israel withdrew from it. What should be written is that Arutz7 (before being shut down by Sharon) and the Orange Camp (then, as now, called crazies, zealots, fanatics) predicted exactly what would happen. Orange was right. The Left was wrong. Soon the soldiers and simple citizens will pay the price. Lucky for Olmert his kids dodged the draft.
2. NOT TO WORRY! FATAH IS IN THERE!
stude ham   (08.12.07)
Working hard to commit its suicide with olmert's generous help... for which he cut a whole bunch of socially necessary programs in Israel. Israel must prepare itself for the fact that Hamas will be the ruling kingpins in palistan. east and west. consequently, it's best in israel's own interests to stay out of the fatah-cide now taking place and to deal with the real terrorist threat at its borders.
3. Gaza is not the only threat.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (08.12.07)
We will soon face a coordinated attack on several fronts. We have Hezbollah, Syria, Hamas in Gaza, various terrorist groups in the WB affiliated with Fatah, & a large, hostile minority within our own borders. Behind it all is Iran. Only a fool could believe that they don't coordinate their activities. Some of their supporters actually sit in our Knesset. Our current weak gov't of appeasers & delusional leftists down-play the threat aided by our left-leaning media. We are far too complacent about the threats facing us in the near future.
4. You All Should Have Spoken Up BEFORE The Ethnic Cleansing
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (08.12.07)
When we on the right were warning of what would be, you remained silent. You participated in the ethnic cleansing of your own brothers and sisters and gave their land to our enemies. You failed your country. You failed your nation.
5. BottomLine:: Muslim Brotherhood is "Pressure cooker" !!
KMR ,   Middle East   (08.12.07)
6. Decision Makers bring Grest Disaster on Israel
Marcel ,   Florida   (08.12.07)
"According to Farkash, it was the decision-makers who chose to take the risk and carry on with the pullout, despite intelligence warnings." Olmert's agenda for Gaza is ; Ignore Hamas and they will go away. The Hamas Army is the result of the Road Map and president Bush's insistence that the elections take place ,hindering Israel from taking any action. Under this meglomainic Bush Israel is a nation whose sovereignty can be trampled at will and her P.M is nothing but a useful idiot ,toy poodle moving FORWARD the president's evil agenda. The decision makers continue to make bad decision's without accountability. There seems to be nothing to stop Israel's insane march to disaster under the mad and crazy rule of Omert ,Kadima,Labor. I pray that one day all of these men will be held accountable for their evil decisions.
7. Example of Olmerts Diplomatic Failure: The Phili Agreement
Lemmings Hotline ,   sd usa   (08.12.07)
Starring Condoleeza Rice. Let the Egyptians manage it. Olmert your silence is a deafening roar. You did nothing to prevent full armament in Gaza. You therefore join Barak in the history book of having no sense of your actions (or inactions) and their consequences.
8. yes, peace was scuppered because of the disengagement
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (08.12.07)
palestinians were much more inclined to peace before the ill-conceived withdrawal, which changed their goodwill toward israel to the now open hatred toward israel. please. this was inevitable no matter if there was a disengagement or not. personally, i prefer the true face of gaza to be seen by the world, than the same terror and anarchy under the mask of the deceitful 'moderate' elderly palestinian kleptocrats.
9. AND THEY STILL WANT DISENGAGMEANT FROM THE WB.
MIKE HAMEN ,   usa   (08.12.07)
ISREAL LEADERS WILL HAVE THERE OWN COUNTRY DESTROYED SOON WITH THERE OWN STUPIED PLANS.
10. #4 One last thing to that, You failed your G-D.
Shlomo ,   Israel   (08.12.07)
11. #6 Still licking that golden calf of self importance hey?
go blog on Jpost ,   or haaretz..   (08.12.07)
12. The WB will eventually want to become an Islamic State
Kevin G ,   Oregon   (08.12.07)
It's only a matter of time. Polls reflect growing support for extreme Islam. If Hamas doesn't take it over, WB will simply elect Hamas or an equivalent (Liberation Party?). This AP item received almost no coverage. It appeared yesterday on the Jerusalem Post. http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1186557421280&pagename=JPost%2FJPArticle%2FShowFull "A global Islamic movement that wants bring Muslims back to the roots of their religion drew a crowd of more than 10,000 at a rally in the WB Saturday and denounced the moderate Palestinian Authority leadership in the West Bank as infidels." Of course any agreement signed with Abbas will be declared void and null by whoever succeeds him. Not that Bush or Olmert care about it. Olmert will be long gone when the quassams start raining on Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
13. The IDF should take a giant step and save the nation
Howard K ,   NYC   (08.12.07)
Unless there are elections soon, and a radical change in leadership (Moshe Feiglin), the IDF should do what any patriotic army must do when the country is being destroyed from within by its own civilian leadership.
14. The Looming Dangers Necessitate.....
Adina Kutnicki ,   US   (08.12.07)
The IDF high command will NOT be able to escape culpability from the looming disasters by just claiming they 'warned' the leaders as to what will happen. Since any zionist IDF heads absolutely realize that the leadership are leading the people off the cliff, they are OBLIGATED to take control. NO ONE wants to see a country's leaders taken over by the military as anything, but a LAST resort. HOWEVER, the fate of the nation is at stake. These zionist military leaders could take the reins of power, and make sure that a thorough housecleaning is done. They can then organize orderly elections and let the people decide. Of course the ENTIRE electoral system needs an overhaul. But there is no time for that now. First, zionist leaders must take over, then they will be able to protect the country. Once this is done then the hard lifting of changing the political process can be done. First things first.
15. well done voters!
eddie ,   London UK   (08.12.07)
for going with idiots in kadima party, now sow the benefits of their desoalte policies!
16. And you guys said us right wingers didn't have a clue!!
Who's cluless now? ,   Israel   (08.12.07)
17. hindsight is 20/20 over at IDF intelligence
aaron ,   ra'anana   (08.12.07)
hello? why didn't you people say anything in 2005 instead of talking out of both sides of your mouths
18. #14 - Adina You're right.The govt has left no other option
Jake T ,   Alaska   (08.12.07)
They cling to power so as to complete their nefarious plan of dismantling Israel. Someone has to stop them. If the people don't want to march into the streets, somebody else must save the country.
