Hizbullah and Abbas PA exist only because they promiss all Arabs that they prepare for war. All the money Abbas gets takes into account that he and other Arabs want war. No war - no money from Saudi king. Olmert hopes that they wouldn't start the war during the conference in the Fall, and may be he is correct. They may wait another 4-5 months.

Having Mr.Peres elected as president, and having Mr.Olmert continue in office as prime minister classifies Israel as an other banana republic. Sorry for stating the obvious.Then again even the banana rebublics get rid of their rottenfruits, why not the israelis?

If he had one iota of honor and self-respect, he would have resigned after his failures of last summer. His national support hovers around the margin of error. He has no mandate to speak of, yet he conducts himself like some banana republic's President for Life.

Why is the opposition so complacent and not calling for an immediate election? Because they only care about their own portfolios? Selfish no good politicians, they are all the same scum and as bad as Olmert!
