1. great dissapointment
Yisraeli   (08.15.07)
I would have thought a low voter turnout favour Feiglin greatly. The ratio appearing at the moment is Bibi around 70% and Feiglin 28% thats a huge difference. I would have expected a much smaller difference. If these figures dont change much, maybe just maybe its time for Feiglin to consider leading a new party like the 'Orange' Party. I fully understand why Likud and have supported that notion even tho after Gush Katif I questioned its validity due to being the party that carried out that great and terrible sin. But it appears the general voters of Likud are still not ready for Jewish Leadership and prefer the garbage they already know. Dont forget this vote has been different then in the past, it used to be only the 3000 central committee that could vote who could be bought. Now its the entire membership. And still they vote Bibi. Moshe may have to do a cheshbon nefesh whether Likud is still the vehicle. Ongoing results can be found here http://www.jewishisrael.org/elections/elections1.htm
2. whoosh! that was a squeeze play 4 bibi
but voter turnout ,   was way low   (08.15.07)
3. so that tells the Feiglin crowd a thing or two!
low voter turnout ,   a no go for him   (08.15.07)
4. tis back to the box for Mr. Feighlin go back to the woods!

5. Look at the big picture
LEE ,   NY, USA   (08.15.07)
Last primary Feiglin received 12.5% of the vote and today he received 22-23% so far. That's a huge move forward. Feiglin is a young, patient, and determined candidate. Many were rooting for him, but few actually believed he'd win the vote outright. Besides, this might mean he'll have some MKs in the next Knesset. After all, it takes time to undo the systematic brainwashing that the Israeli public has been and continually is influenced by. Good job Feiglin. Keep it coming. Am Ha'netzach lo mefached mi'derech arooka. (The Eternal Nation does not fear a long journey)
6. Mr. Yisraeli, Bibi & the Likud r Jewish! get w/the program!

8. Feiglin hijackers don't even vote Likud
David ,   Los Angeles   (08.15.07)
As Bibi said, this was an attempted hijacking of the Likud by people who don't even vote for the Likud. Good riddance to these fascists!
9. #1 & #5 Yisraeli & Lee
Canadian Otter   (08.15.07)
Thanks Lee for looking at the bright side (a great American attitude). The problem is that there's no time to wait for Feiglin's movement to develop. Something needs to be done now. The only thing that can save Israel is the Arabs' own confused situation and their possible misjudgments. That's what has saved Israel from its own politicians destructive peace plans before. Just like Yisraeli, I also think that Feiglin should take off with a party of his own now. Maybe that's the way to get some political influence under the current system. I feel very disappointed too. The comments pages on the English websites were full of support for Feiglin. Maybe it's just us, the diaspora, that perceives more urgently the dangers ahead. I don't know. After reading about the sex-issues demonstrations a while ago, I thought that there was a silent majority that would express itself by voting when the time came. Today I feel close to despair. The population is not silent, it just simply doesn't care, or doesn't understand, or has given up. Or maybe people have been turned against Torah-based values to the point where they will reject the only candidate who stood for saving Israel. How sad.

I guess we see whats around the corner. The people of Israel are going to pay a very heavy price. In the end I am very sorry to say that perhaps they deserve it allbeit the good will be harmed with the bad ones. I see a terrible price for the apathy and continuous voting of treachorous leaders leaders. Maybe this is the only way it will have to come down, for Am Yisrael to understand. I already grieve for whats to come. As someone said some years back the Jewish people were totally guiltless for the Holocaust that happened to them. But the same cannot be said for God forbid a holocaust No.2. Israel has been inviting it upon herself. One can only hope and pray and Im a secular by the way, that inspite of ourselves the higher powers that be will save us....from ourselves. As to #8 calling the Feiglin camp facists, either you are just a very ignorant person or a self hating Jew. Its common knowledge amongst those who know the real truth whats happening in Israel is that the left have continuously broken every trate of democracy and border themselves on facism. I challenge your and your ilk to watch this movie to better understand whats really happening in Israel today. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1459280916999356707&q=Zionism+and+Herzl&total=28&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0
11. #10 Yisraeli - Thanks for the video

And I've had the same thoughts regarding how Israelis are marching right ahead towards a very bad situation (second Holocaust?), in spite of warnings everywhere, and in spite of the facts right in front of them. Nobody can deny the results of disengagement, but they are going for more. A few days ago there were some very ugly talkbacks about the Orthodox. (Jason and Sagi) http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3436707,00.html At the same time, IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi was eliciting enthusiastic applause from a largely Druze audience Sunday when he told the crowd that in the next life, he wants to be a Druze. Ashkenazi was speaking at a ceremony honoring Druze soldiers, in Karmiel. http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/131521 The above was not widely reported, but it struck me as being another way of putting down the Jewish soldiers. I understand how different groups of Jews may not understand each other, but this anti-Jewish attitude among Jews themselves could be at the root of the lack of nationalistic values, and the eventual cause of Israel's own self-destruction. I'm a secular too but I find hatred of the religious or contempt for Jewishness itself or its values among Jews very distressing. But I'll be hoping for one more miracle that will prevent the surrender planned by your government. I wish all the very best to Israel and its people.
12. I dont have trust on BIBI the mishonnest
marc darmon ,   in israel actually   (08.17.07)
I do not included or understand how Israelis could vote for a energuméne as bibi which is mishonnést and opportunist and this type is dangerous because he is not a man of the right for me, because why bibi did not make a turning on the right like made sarkozy to practise a nationalist policy of right-hand side supporting the judaisation of Judaea samarie Gaza and to invest massively in the territories while asking the knesset to regard Judaea samarie Gaza as historical areas attached to israel, but I am wary of bibi which is not man of the right and I do not manage to include/understand moché arens or reuven rivline which addressed their support to him whereas he had said stupidities like “giving more means to abou mazen or to make come to Judaea samarie the Jordanian and Egyptian army for remplaçer tsahal and that is inadmissible of its share, I maintenances that bibi must be beaten by somebody who is really hard and of right-hand side not funny like him, who does not affirm himself for Judaea samarie Gaza or the golan which he had wanted to give when he was rochamine challa!! the Israelis are insane to elect a type like him malhonnéte in the heart “because it does not have méme replied to my written letter of israel in not recommended”!! look in france sarkozy president has took a tournure in right for win the election and why not bibi dont have take this tournure in right ! such is the question ??!! I wanted to say what I had in my heart against bibi which is not line and does not deserve the votes of the aprés Israelis the social purging that it made them!! with the people of the giborims gedolims of yecha chabath chalom
