The reason no Israeli children were killed was that the daycare was, miraculously, vacant at that time. The point is that the rocket launchers were AIMING at CIVILIAN TARGETS (illegal according to the geneva conventions). Meanwhile, IDF was aiming at military targets and hit the children BY MISTAKE. International law recognizes the concept of collateral damage (as happened in this case, when the IDF troops didn't see the kids and killed them ACCIDENTALLY). International law goes further: it states that military targets (such as launching cells) ARE NOT EXEMPT from attack, merely because the possibility exists that there MAY be civilians there (geneva convention 4). BTW, there should NOT have been children there. What were the kids doing next to rocket launchers? Where were the Palestinian parents to warn their children not to play next to rocket launchers? Or worse, did they encourage them to be around? Was it bring your kids to work day?

But I blame the Palestinians entirely for this,what's the Israelis supposed to do just sit back and do nothing and let Hamas people launch more rockets at Sderot kindergartens until one finally kills or injures Israeli children? Occupation implies resistance which force Tsahal (the world most moral army) to kill on a regular basis palestinian kids. the poof is in the IDF's video; for sure they are arab kids. But the IDF is holding the video from publication as there was no rocket laucher next to the kids !

The IDF has talked numerous times about these supposed "children sent to retrieve rocket launchers" thing, but so far no evidence for such actions have been presented. Excuse me if I demand proofs before accepting an IDF statement, but I still have in memory the Lebanon war. I would like to see a video footage of that specific strike, as well as evidence of children removing rocket launchers.
