31. #1 - MA KASHUR???
Hamburger ,   Hamburg Germany   (08.23.07)
You know, there has been a lot of talking in the media about how politicians mention the Holocost on every occasion, which makes it "cheap". Well, this is exactly what you are doing now - how does this crematorium, where people come BY CHOICE to burn the already-dead bodies of their loved ones, remind you of Auschwituz, how?? And the haredim really are taking the law into their own hands! So what happens next - they'll start burning non-kosher shops and restaurants? Your comment is ignirent.
32. #31 - They are burning shops and restaurants already!

You and I and Charles are heretics and if we are not careful we might end up in the town square.

Being stoned to death in the town square by a load of righteous, bigoted, controlling, money grabbing monomaniac Haredim isn't quite how I pictured my last hurrah! Besides, we are better off live than dead. I know how much tax I pay every month and it's a huge amount, I also know where a chunk of that money goes, and so do they. Unfortunately for them, they need us alive.
36. #1 that's exactly what I thought looking at the photo

37. I was wondering.......
(08.23.07)
was there any dead bodies in there waiting to be burned? but were instead burned by the arsonists?
38. Reminds me of Tehran. So much for democracy and freedom.

39. Sagi, you have successfully defined yourself as a fascist.
Jeremiah ,   Israel's Jewish Land   (08.23.07)
You should be real proud of yourself. I understand Germany is offering excellent incentives to Jewish immigrants. Perhaps you should look into this. I'm sure you feel very uncomfortable here in Israel with all of us religious Jews and the thousands of religious Jews making Aliyah every year must only make things worst for you.

At least there will be an assembly of three GOOD ISRAELIS , who contribute to OUR , not their , country . If someone wants to be cremated , as is done in most , if not all , developped western countries , this will has to be fullfilled . You know this story ? A Jew comes home and tell his wife that he wants to be cremated , so she can have his ashes in their living room . Wous ? die wilst brennen ? bai mir ligst di in drerd . [ difficult for me to translate , sorry ]

Very typical response. When you folks have no sensible, logical, coherent counter argument, you resort to using stupid meaningless epithets. How brilliant. I can assure you tha my family and I knew and practiced Judaism long before you ever heard the word. Walking around in 17th century Polish garb is Judaism in your eyes ? Knowing a book by heart is Judaism ? Living off charity all your life when you are fit and able is Judaism ? For five generations my family and that of my wife have plowed and tilled this land, fought and served in the full range of security services, always at the forefront. Don't teach me about Judaism and if you wish to describe that kind of Judaism as fascism, then I am happy to be a fascist. Yes, I am deeply concerned about the rise in the ultra religious population. This way of life is not conducive to a modern productive society, and I am definately against the "ghetto" like lifestyle of these folks.

Zanveleh Der Treger ,   Meah Shearim   (08.24.07)
What kind of shtissem are you talking? Tilling the land is Judaism? There is opnly one form of Judaism, and that is KEEPING THE TORAH!!! Nisht mer, nisht veiniger. Why be in Eretz Yisroel at all if you don't believe in the Torah? Go back to Russia.

44. Yes Sagi, you've made it pretty clear that you're a fascist.
Jeremiah ,   Israel's Jewish Land   (08.24.07)
Kyle spotted you right off, I must admit it took me a while longer. Let's see you're an elitist, petty, bourgeoisie type that's afraid of the lower classes (the Haredim) who you think all religious Jews are a part of. You only focused on the lower class Haredim breaking the law but not on the landowning schmuck running an illegal crematorium in Israel. You allow your nationalist sentiments and prejudices to create hate for your fellow Jews, the Haredim. Or do you not see them to be your brothers? To answer your question, living off charity all your life when you are fit and able is more than acceptable in Judaism when you're a Torah scholar and guess what your socialist government agrees. Oh yeah I almost forgot, you consider yourself an expert on law and order before all the facts have been presented and you even go so far as to judge the lower class Haredim as automatically being the perpetrators in the case. Let's see, your morbid beliefs in the sanctity of private property (an illegal crematorium) are all definitely classic characteristics of fascism. You say your family and YOU knew and practiced Judaism long before I every heard the word. Well that's a big assumption since you know nothing about me. But I've learned a bit about you through your writings. If you know so much and practice so much why do you appear to be so ignorant about our religion? If this was the case we wouldn't be having this debate. For example you would know that it's a mitzvah to support a Torah scholar and that a crematorium in Israel, burning Jewish bodies, is completely against Hashem's laws. I'm not sure what kind of Judaism you're practicing but there is only one kind and that's Torah Judaism. You don't have to know it by heart but it would help if you read it sometime, it would at least improve your debating skills.
45. Jeremiah , the ignorant
charles ,   petach tikva   (08.25.07)
You say that Sagi is a fascist , but do you know what this word means ? Certainly not . Fascism's goal is to replace a democracy by an authoritarian nationalistic dictature . Well , that not the way Sagi wants it , but more likely the charidim who want to impose their way of life to others , but not by democratic ways . Burning a corpse is against hashem's laws ? don't do it . But let those who want it do it . We Seculars do not impose our way of life on you , let us live too . Supporting a tora scholar is a mitzwa for you ? Do it , but not at the expenses of the State .

Sagi ,   Israel   (08.25.07)
Like Charles, I suggest you educate yourself as to the meaning of "Fascism'. "Kyle spotted". Kyle my friend, could not spot a black dog walking through the Alaskan snow. He is both shallow and infantile as is evident in his tbs.
47. Sagi are you and Charles roommates or R U one and the same?
Jeremiah ,   Israel's Jewish Land   (08.25.07)
I've noticed that you and your alter-ego Charles seem to consistently comment back to back... interesting and cute. I'll address Sagi Charles as one. Sagi Charles once again you've shown your ignorance because that brief one liner is only a small part of what make up a fascist government. My God man use the encyclopedia your can access several for free on the internet. You will find that there are many many more aspects of what makes up a fascist individual which Sagi Charles is certainly one of. I would suggest you educate yourself because it's becoming a bore doing this for you. Sagi Charles claims now to be secularist, but he sounds more like a schizophrenic. Sagi Charles through the personality of Sagi claimed he's a oh so religious Jew and that his family and himselfs (Sagi Charles) knew and practiced Judaism long before I ever heard the word. Sagi Charles I don't blame you for relying on your Charles persona to take over fighting your battles for you because after your last retort I would jump train too. But I would like the persona of Sagi to answer the questions posed to he him, which he failed to address. How do you know it was an individual who's Haredi? The perpetrator hasn't been identified. Why do you choose to focus your attention on the perpetrator's crime and not the crime committed by the owner of the Crematorium? He was the first to break the Law. You never addressed the question, do you not see the Haredim as being your brothers? I mean your a religious man why do you hate them so much? Is this the way a Torah observant Jew should be? Being that you're a religious Jew why are you so troubled by other religious Jews like yourself making aliyah? You should be happy Sagi! Most of them probably aren't even Haredi and if they were they would go live in those ghettos you speak of. I'm sure you read the comments of one of the residents of Hibat Tzion "I myself am secular, but no one in the community wanted this establishment here. It dredges up associations to the Holocaust; it's simply audacious that someone would build something like this. We'll fight anyone who tries to reopen this business, now the municipality is involved and it turns out no official authority sanctioned any of this. We spoke to the residents and even the secular ones agree that it's an intrusive operation that should not be based in a residential area. It emits a terrible odor and brings to mind unpleasant associations. I'm against any violence, but on the other hand we're quite pleased that this has stopped."- Shalom Raz. Are you still willing to fight for a criminal who ran a illegal crematorium in a secular community who didn't know about it or want it? Or would you rather continue focusing on hating your fellow religious Jews the Haredi for no apparent reason?

Sagi and i are two different persons . Sometimes i even disagree with him . Regarding fascim , i have looked into an encyclopedia , you did not . You can't even read Sagi's tb"s regarding his "judaism" . Try to reads it again , and if your small [ if you have any ] brains can understand it , try to review your idea about him . It's maybe a coincidence that this businnes was set ablaze some hours after his adress was printed in this charidi paper ? If he worked without permits , there is police to whom to complain . Setting a business on fire is certainly a greater crime than working illegally . PS , for you there is only Russia as a country abroad , this proves again your general ignorance

Until when the criminals will walk free? ARREST MESHI ZAHAV, on instigation and arson charges!

Where else have I heard of an abscess in midst of clean body? Oh, right, the hamas charter. They were talkin gof Israel itself, with you, Jeremiah, as an abscess, on the cleansed body of islam. Remember? About the proofs of arson. The article is giving FACTS, and facts alone. From the facts anyone, who is not too befuddled with some mental mist or another, can always deduce the truth. Somebody broke in (to steal the furnice, right?), and then a massive fire broke out. It reminds me greatly of Talmudical example of a guy chasing the other with a knife in a hand and yelling I will kill you, going beyond a fence, then you hear screams, and the guy reemerges with a bloodstained knife in bloodstained hands, the other one dead. Is he murderer? No, because you did not see him murder ,right? I hope that the owner will get all the reimbursment from the insurance companies that he only can, and hire a security guy with a gun and order to shoot without warning into any trespasser. Just like "Dead Serious".
51. SECULARIZE. Stop with religious dictators !
