kıLL aLL HAMAS BASTARDS PLEASE WE ALL JEWS IN TURKEY PRAY FOR ISRAEL!
2. Infiltration from Gaza
Marcell ,   Nir-Am   (08.25.07)
The incidents of infiltration or attempted infiltration are increasing. Add that to our ongoing problem with Kassams and the over-all picture of security on the Gaza border becomes darker by the day. it is only a matter of time before the terrorists succeed in infiltrating Israel and making their way to the mercaz.
3. terror plot
vicky ,   ashkelon israel   (08.25.07)
Well done our boys. And the rest of the world want us to stop building our defences. Would the US pull down their Mexican wall, and what would they do if the Mexicans started firing across their borders????????
4. Pals say they dont mind Walls if built on IL land-so build!!

5. Funny how the UN, Peace Now and other groups all stay silent

6. Palestinian militants
(08.25.07)
they have more courage day by day, they scaled a tower and go deep to 700 m. They were ready to give their life. The IDF troops are only anxious about their safety; they are not ready to give life. They can only fight from behind fortified armors; they usually are obsessed about fortification; do you know why? Because in that area there is no Palestinian kids to use as human shields.
7. #2 Marcell,and I are in the same boat
Don Saliman ,   Nahal Oz   (08.25.07)
I live on Kibbutz Nahal Oz and Marcell's Kibbutz and My Kibbutz are two communties on the border of Gaza. We both suffer from Kassams and Mortar shells,Nir Am much more than my Kibbutz, but we both live on luck, one day a Kassam or Mortar shell will kill or injure us. Us along with Sedort and other communties in our area, our government ignores our problems or worse refuses to do anything about it. Olmert does not care,it seems like about us,we are not important to him enough. What other country, feeds supplies weapons, electricity, water,to its enemies and ignores it's own people?
8.  Evidence of Israel's Stupidity
Marcel ,   Florida   (08.25.07)
You caught these two but you are playing the Road Map no peace game to lose because; You continue to release these Islamic terrorists . You provide them weapons and ammunition and allow the CIA to train them in Jericho. You allow food and mecdical supplies to thse who seek your destruction. You continue to allow the U.S. to dismantle your country and security for a false peace and you brainwash your citizens with this delusional lie of peace with Islam. It is a lie and will never happen. You will either be defeated by your enemie or you will defeat them with God's help. P.M Olmert is the Captain of the sinking ship Titanic and will only bring disaster to Israel with the help of Shimon Peres and the other defeatist and appeasers of Israel.
9. Thanks, guys! If it weren't for you...
Helene ,   Israel   (08.25.07)
we would not be alive...
10. Olmert opposes IDF plan for a buffer zone
Canadian Otter   (08.25.07)
A senior IDF officer says Olmert has forbidden the IDF to go ahead with a plan to create a 1.5-2 km buffer strip inside the Gaza Strip to keep terrorists at bay. Without this buffer, he says, the Arabs hold the initiative of when, where and on what scale to wage war. As a result, he expects Arabs to intensify their attacks and extend their range. IDF commanders complain there is now nothing to deter terrorists from using their advanced anti-tank rockets and extended-range Kassam surface missiles against the towns of Ashkelon and Netivot, as well as IDF facilities guarding the Israel-Gaza border. Instead of pushing back the terrorists, the IDF has ordered Israeli farmers to work their fields up to one kilometer away from the border." How is that for (Jewish?) leadership? http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/132108

tsedek ,   israel   (08.25.07)
so many innocents get killed because suicidal bastards don't care about their own life that it's pretty stupid to call that 'courageous'. i'd call it damn selfish.

Micha   (08.25.07)
The Wolf and the Lamb WOLF, meeting with a Lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea to justify to the Lamb the Wolf's right to eat him. He thus addressed him: "Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me." "Indeed," bleated the Lamb in a mournful tone of voice, "I was not then born." Then said the Wolf, "You feed in my pasture." "No, good sir," replied the Lamb, "I have not yet tasted grass." Again said the Wolf, "You drink of my well." "No," exclaimed the Lamb, "I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother's milk is both food and drink to me." Upon which the Wolf seized him and ate him up, saying, "Well! I won't remain supperless, even though you refute every one of my imputations." The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny.
14. #6...disgusting
Korem ,   New York, USA   (08.25.07)
First of all, the Israeli Supreme Court banned the use of Palestinians as human shields. Second, there was only one injury that ever resulted from the practice. Thirdly, they were used not during firefights but during home inspections for weapons stockpiles. I don't agree with the policy (it was horrible), but compared to the fact that hamas and IJ gunmen use human shields, by firing from windows of hospitals and schools, it pales in comparison to the number of direct or indirect deaths caused by the latter. On top of that, you're trying to portray these "militants" as brave people when their intention was to commit a massacre like the US mass murderers in southern Israeli towns. You sicken me.

16. Olmert's status
Itzik ,   Haifa   (08.25.07)
A huge attack by Abbas gangs, like this morning, only improves Olmert's status in the West. And for Olmert, his status and money for his friends and family is everything.

And your economic situation is getting worse from day to day under Olmert, right?
18. To 6 to quote Patton
(08.25.07)
"The purpose of war is not die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his" So, yes IDF soldiers are concerned about staying alive... instead of getting mowed down and losing valuable equipment each time...
19. #14,15 do you believe your own
(08.25.07)
the battle lasted 30 minutes, Some, (not one) IDF troops were wounded, 2 militants killed and the Third retreated back safely to Gaza. For a gun battle to last 30 minutes, do you still believe they carried explosive belts to carry on a massacre in south towns, then, those militants must be miraculously brave, according to your own.
20. Great job, IDF!
Steven ,   San Francisco   (08.25.07)
World's finest soldiers.
21. #14 still believe your own?
(08.25.07)
A group of Palestinian terrorists entered Israel from the Gaza Strip early Saturday, firing at an IDF position before soldiers shot them, the IDF said. Then, if they were going to have another target past that post would they have started firing first at an IDF position? That's the most disgusting story. The corruption even in creating a cover up story is the only reliable thing you deduct from the whole story.

23. Our lumpy policy...
T.I ,   Israel   (08.25.07)
We must change our constant position towards Erez border, the palestinians need to pay a price, as long as they let terrorists infiltrating to our state. For how long, our overlooking behavior will go on?
24. #2 and #7 Continued Attacks
ralphsrant1 ,   USA   (08.25.07)
I used to live in that region and all of my friends are getting rocketed daily. #2 and #7 just a short note please refrain from giving your kibbutz names and information since that might help the enemy. If something happens the present non elected goverment and Peace Now will be the blame. http://ralphsrant1.blogspot.com/
25. Golani? you r joking; they've yet to recover from Hizbullahs
(08.25.07)
shock.
26. 21/22 Yes I still believe it, know why?
Korem ,   New York, USA   (08.25.07)
Because it makes sense. Their intention was to kill border guards and then make their way to Kibbutz Erez and Netiv Ha'asara. Rather than sneaking past the guard they chose to fight since they were armed to the teeth with grenades and weapons. When the alert went off, they ran north directly to the southern israeli towns with intent to finish their mission. They were stopped. What's so full of holes here? Better yet, why did the PRC, DFLP, and al aqsa martyr brigades issue a joint statement claiming responsibility and calling it a martyrdom operation against the "zionist entity" if they were actually 2 little children killed indiscriminately by the IDF? Do you still believe YOUR OWN cover-story? It's incredible; your absolute refusal to acknowledge that the IDF, as usual, stopped 2 potential terrorists from commiting an attack.

The plight of the communities on the Gaza border is a well-documented one, both in Israel and abroad; we used to refrain from naming our kibbutzim, but after 7 years of Kassam attacks, it has become an open "secret" as to where the bombs are falling. The only people seemingly unaware of the facts on the ground are the members of our own government, as Don mentioned in his post. The very people elected to protect us are the ones who ignore us.

One thing to remember was that Olmert was not elected, neither was Barak, Labour, Livni and Peres. I hope you stay safe as well as my friends use to party ar your kibbutz quite a bit.
