You have seen nothing yet, as more food staples like wheat and corn go into ethanol production to satisfy America's insationable demand for gasoline/oil you will see prices sky rocket for those who can afford it and for those who can't you will see extermination. Good thing global warming will slow down our demand at the expense of the less fortunate by substituting ethanol for oil products. (Which have more effect on the enviroment which no one will speak about)

This is third-world economics - it only creates market distortions, encourages waste & over-consumption, & in reality, helps no one. Let bakers compete for business - we'll get better bread, more variety, & fair prices. And, we get rid of a gov't. office - a good thing in itself. And for those of you crying socialist tears for the poor, it is socialism that brings poverty & unemployment.

Alot of us can barely afford to buy bread now as it is and they want to up the price again? That is nuts, what do they want the poor to starve, bread is the mainstay of many poor people's diet and if you raise the prices they will not afford it. Guess We will have to stop buying bread and flour and everything made with wheat if the prices go up,oh no what will there be left for us to eat???? The people of Israel need to Boycott Bread and bread products, ato protest against this raise of prices, if we all stand together they will change their minds, don't we owe it to those who struggle everyday just to put simple foods on their table,like bread and a small piece of cheese?
