This is really great! For a lot of these kids sports is one way to get out of poverty, and they'll never forget the "Jewish lady" who was so kind to them. I bet, you not only won't hear anti-Semitism from these kids for the rest of their lives, but that they won't listen to it from anybody else, either.

Let her train Jewish kids. Why waste our tax money? They will not like Jews or Israel Jews in the states gave their lives, freedom and money for the civil rights struggle and the african-Americans do not like us. Ever see one buy an Israeli bond? What about priviledged kids? Their parents work and pay taxes. Why not teach them also?
4. Shachar Peer is AMAZING!

What great press for Israel. She is an amazing athlete and its so nice to have something Israeli to be proud of. It would be nice though, if in Israel there was more contributions to sports.

I think you'd be surprised to see the impact that things like this can make on young kids. Have you ever listened to the reactions of the African-American students who come to Israel in some of the programs that are designed to expose them to life there? They come back sounding like the ultimate hasbara promoters.

There are no kids in Israel that need a bit of help with their back swing. Miss Peer seeks the flashy lights of NY. Maybe she could return a few of the kassams to Sderot.
7. 6# Miss Peer gives many free clinics in Israel too
