1. "Deported to Europe"?
Hamburger ,   Hamburg   (08.28.07)
What are they complaining about? Beats Gaza and West Bank altogether! :-)
2. A question.................
Bill Pearlman ,   new york, usa   (08.28.07)
A lot of people that I know, including myself, spend a lot of time on what I guess you would call pro-Israel activism, AIPAC, donations, etc. Money and time that people donate williingly because they think it's an obligation and they accept that willingly. But, if israel is bent on complete surrender, total abject humiliation. With seemingly no red lines, no level of degradation that's too much. Are American Jews obligated to be a part of this enterprise anymore.
3. Don't forget to pay them an allowance!!
Shiloh ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.28.07)
Good thing moderate terrorists get such special treatment. Don't forget that if they really really promise to be good moderate terrorists that they will get some fresh money from our American friends. Wow, who would have ever thought we could just all get along together.
4. Lunacy as usual
Jacob ,   Cardiff, Wales   (08.28.07)
How the Israeli government could allow this decision to go through I will never know. Whether these guys are Hamas or Fatah they are still terrorists and deserved to be treated as such. The Olmert government has lost its mind whens it comes to talks with Abbas who like Arafat is still a terrorist despite claims by the US that he is a 'moderate'. Why is it that Israel always grants reprieves for militants and terrorists who have innocent blood on their hands to return to a life of freedom without trial? Why can't the government allow Jews to set up new neighborhoods in Hebron for a change instead of listening to The US and the UN all the time?
5. What a message to Christians
Mordechai   (08.28.07)
Whats the problem with taking churchmen hostage. I guess their lives are as worthless as Jewish ones to Olmert. But of course bringing these "moderate" in will bring peace. Meanwhile lets complain about some Rabbi's shabbos sermon. Thats the main "threat" Olmert has to deal with
6. Hold out long enough, Olmert will give you everything.
Raymond from DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (08.29.07)
Granted some reports of alleged concessions are premature, and are nothing but a means to pressure Israel. But the pattern of Israel's concessions based policy is undeniable. Gaza... Money... Judea/Samaria... Arms... Exiled terrorists... Land bridge to Gaza... Prisoners... East Jerusalem and Temple Mount... Golan... Shebaa Farms. Of course, Israel shouldn't expect anything in return. Like an end to incitement, attacks, or worldwide demonization of Israel.
7. Olmert just loves the Abbas smile and wants to please him

Arafat promised Peres that Fatah had abandoned viollence We got plenty of violence in return. Abbas promised Olmert that Fatah had abandoned violence. We stil have Fatah armed wings carrying out or attemopting to carry out terror attacks Peres gave Arafat lots of guns and amuntion Olmert gave Abbas lots of guns, amuntion, bullet proof vests all in the name of strenghening Abbas against Hamas this happened after Lebanon where because there had been a lack or recources many soilders did not have bullet proof vests and they either had to buy their own or go without as some did and paid for it wih their lives. Peres was to blind to wake up look at the reality of the situation and now Olmert is to blind to wake up see the reality that Abbas is nothing more than Arafat in an excuse and because he wants a nobel prize of Peres never learned from his mistakes he constantly kept trying to repackage the same old failings make them look like somethng new and revolutionry. Olmert repackages everthing make it look new and fails. PERES FELL IN LOVE WITH ARAFAT AND HIS PROMISES OLMERT HAS FALLEN IN LOVE WITH ABBAS PROMISES Given a chance Peres would have kicked the jews out of the Golan now Olmert wants to kick the jews out of the Golan.
10. AMEN BILL #2
Dan ,   USA   (08.29.07)
As a life long Zionist who marched, gave money, and have spent my entire life arguing the unpopular position that Jews have a right to their natural homeland in the State of Israel, I simply am stunned that these maggots would be given any consideration whatsoever. Israel should announce that upon their return they will be arrested and tried for their crimes. This government is beyond crazy, beyond idiotic, they are totally craven. Anyone else, either Barak or Netanhayu should be better than this.
11. This keeps up there will be nothing left of Israel

and how about this report: Shimon Peres decided to reduce the sentence of the 5 Arab "men" who raped and murderers teenaged Danny Katz. Donate your money to Zionist organizations such as Oorit Struk, Honenu and many others. Or maybe to the Jewish refugees expelled from their homes by Sharon and Olmert.

just because of the issues you bring up, which as very critical and correct, i will think twice about supporting the israeli government that is bent on israel's destruction. if all jews and aipac threaten israel that the money will stop flowing, maybe the good citizens of eretz israel will rebel and oust this incompetent governement. we can do it from the usa and europe and put pressure on israel to wake up and open its eyes. they have someone on top who wants to save his won skin and pocket book and bank account and who feels NOTHING for the ideology and survival of his country. his name is olmert and he should be inpeached.
14. when all is said and done
(08.29.07)
and when israel becomes a miniscule country with all the give aways and land concessions and with borders that will be the most unsade ones ever in the history of this country, people of israel will have only themselves to blame for permitting this incompetent olmert to change their lives forever. you, the people of israel are your only hope. while you in tel aviv go to the beach and you in tel aviv go to india and europe, while you in tel aviv dance in discos and eat at falaffel joints, travel all over and enjoy life as if nothing is happening...please remember olmert and abbas and the finger will be pointed at you and only you. and when the arabs invade your miniscule country without secure borders and with all the terrorists you permitted in, the first group who will die by the sword, islam style, would be all of you including peace now, b'tzelem, and all the leftists and new historians. all the jews. this is the fate of anyone that is jewish in the new palestine. go ahead, enjoy yourselves and you'll see what will happen. here in the usa and europe we see clearly what olmert is doing with your country. but, you are totally blind.

16. #2- Bill, we are all one Family..
LEE ,   NY, USA   (08.29.07)
Bill, I can understand your frustrations clearly, but as a Nation that has never given up throughout our long history, we'd be unwise to adopt this attitude now. All you'd be doing is mimicking the exact attitude that's apparently sending Israel down the dumps. Keep in mind that the darkest moment is right before the dawn. Our people need us as much as we need them. And they need you to lead. If anything is obvious it is that there is a basic lack of leadership from any Israeli politician from the right to the left and that whatever American policy dictates goes , without question. You, as an American activist, help dictate how Israelis live. Your support is needed now more then ever. When the country is strong, it has the capability to stand on its own two feet. The help is needed particularly when it is at its weakest point. I don't know where you stand in your faith, but the hope of Israel has always been alive through our heritage, centralized around our Torah. And the Torah is flourishing in the past few years. There is a spark that will soon be ignited that will create real leaders in the Holy Land. Leaders that will be tough with our enemies and soft on its citizens rather then the flipside we unfortunately witness today. If you are in line with these thoughts, then I'm sure you've heard of Moshe Feiglin. I'm not sure he's a panacea, but it's definitely a start. I can name a few politicians beside him that are real men, such as Effie Eitam or Moshe Ya'alon. These are the men that should be mentioned and propelled forward at the activist dinners and such. As far as donations, you'd be a fool to donate directly to the government institutions for they are corrupt and you'd just be feeding a corrupt machine. Right now there are 1,673 families that do not have permanent homes. These were the best this nation had to offer and Israel and just about all its citizens abandoned them and continue to abandon them following the example of their government. This would be a great cause to support. Bill, we are one family and we cannot abandon each other even if we have to pull every single hair out from our head in frustration at our brothers' conduct. You are a Jew and a Jew never abandons his brothers, even if they push him away.
17. When is the Palestinian Authority going to grant the right
freedom ,   canada   (08.29.07)
of return to all Christians that have left Bethlehem. Right we will put this on the back burner as well... Its time for a monumental change in Israel, lets hope it is soon to come. As the leftist clowns in Israel seems to be bent on burying the country.
