I believe you are right, the Palestinians see us as an evil and wish to destroy us, but that doesn't mean that they are right. Wvil is whatever stands against what someone bellieves should happen; in the case of the Palestinians, they believe that Israel should be destroyed and the rest of the west should follow, and Islam should rule the world. That is what the Palestinians believe to be good, but do you believe this to be good? As you said, God gave us minds to fight evil, but he also gave us minds to first choose what is good and what is evil, and not everyone will choose the same thing. Just because someone says that we are evil doesn't mean that we are, all it means is that they think the world should work differently, and we don't have to agree with them.

Although this definition has become somewhat of a cliche, the lunatic left may benefit from repetition. Quite simply, crazy (and/or stupid) people repeat the same behavior over and over again while expecting different results. In the case of the delusional left, no matter how much the Palestinians break agreements and view Israeli concessions as signs of Israeli weakness and fatigue, the Left, like the idiot author of "turn on the lights" continue to advocate more Israeli give-aways and appeasment tactics. Arafat signed Oslo in which, among other things,he agreed to stop violence against Israel and deal with disputes by negotiation. From his refusal to negotiate Barak and Clinton's offer at Camp David and Taba and launching of the bloody intefada to his insane call to violence after Bibi opened another exit at the tunnel wall, Arafat continued to be a terrorist. Israel's withdrawal from Gaza and the gift of the greenhouses was met with destruction and violence and the election of Hamas and the continued firing of rockets into Sderot. Yet the left always finds an excuse for the violence, always blames some Israeli behavior, and continues to advocate the same thing in the hope that doing the same thing will lead to different results. This is like a parent promising an out-of-control brat a reward if the little bugger stops his tantrum. Guess what. The kid has now learned that in order to get something, all he has to do is tantrum.

The rest is just appeasement.
