While it's easy for to dismiss these high-profile celebrities as dilettantes, there's an untold amount of positive public relations that can be gained by their visits to Israel. After all, these people have fans who follow their every move (even though some of us may find that foolish), but if they're willing to use their "star power" to help present Israel in a positive light...then good for them.
