61. Cash register Just jammed!!!
Peter Morris ,   New Zealand   (09.17.07)
You have to laugh when you read "Meanwhile, Dore Gold, formerly Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, told Ynetnews that while Israel should be monitoring such developments, Jerusalem should not express any view points on what is an internal American issue. " Considering over 70% Democrat political party funding comes from Zionist interests as well as well funded anti campaigns its a bit hipocritical of Dore Gold. For the sake of efficiency it would make much more sense if Olmert simply "appointed" the next President of the US.
62. Zbig and Joy both have good excuses
Sagi ,   Isarel   (09.17.07)
He is a Polack and she is blessed with stupidity and naivety, both in abundance. They must be forgiven as they have no choice, It is rather like not being fit to stand trial after psychiaytric assessment.
63. Brezinski a bigot since years
Semsem ,   New York, USA   (09.17.07)
Brezinski has been bashing Israel since years. He is a bigot and like Carter clearly an antisemite. His comments about the Lebanon war were outrageous and defended Hezzbolah.
64. Internal matter
Pam ,   AZ USA   (09.17.07)
That it is, and as an Obama supporter, for reasons of domestic integrity, I will make darn sure he hears from me that any window-dressing move that symbolically distances him from actively supporting Israel may cost him a vote. And I'm not a member of any lobby.
65. A note to Peter Morris
Ngata Kohen ,   Occupied New Zealand   (09.17.07)
It never ceases to amaze me that a "New Zealander" with a name like Peter Morris is preaching about justice referring to the oldest nonsense in the "Jew/Zionist loving" culture; the Jews own the world. Grow up and look around you, you may find out we have no claim on New Zealand, since you so elegantly stole it from the Maori. With an overly active justice gland you may even get involved in getting the Maori back the island you stole from them. You know they may decide to hire a Jewish attorney and actually get some real justice. You may gain insight into a real problem by looking at www.maori.org.nz.

Don't forget : people give nothing for nothing . Supporting Israel is also benefiting your country . The USA knows that Israel is the ONLY sure ally in this strategically so important region . The USA knows that Israel will not betray her by becoming one of her enemies . And that's why the USA supports us . Common interests make good allies .
67. An Antisemetic Pole, And A Guy Named Hussein. Thanks Jimmy!
David ,   Marietta USA   (09.17.07)
I'm going to brech.
68. if pro-peace is anti-israel, then Carter is anti-israel
Marco ,   Italia   (09.17.07)
Few public figures have genuinely labored for peace as much as Jimmy Carter - I can think of no one who could surpass him other then the Dalai Lama; and what's more, by engaging an issue that the DL would not touch with a mile long stick, Jimmy outpaces the DL on honesty and frankness. That Brzezinski apprecaited the efforts of the two professors, and worked for Carter, and that Obama credited Brzezinski, are major points in favour of these two men.
69. Will Hillary still pick Obama for her VP?
Steve ,   US   (09.17.07)
I'm not a Democrat but it seems to me Obama is a career ruiner for any Democrat. I would not go near him. He is damaged goods.
70. Marco #68: Jimmy Carter is a Sunday school teacher
Steve ,   US   (09.17.07)
Marco, I read Jimmy Carter's latest book, "Palestine Peace Not Apartheid." I've not read such polemics against the Jews and Israel since I read chapters from Holocaust revisionist and denier, Norman Finkelstein's "Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict." Perhaps you knew, Mr. Carter is a born-again Christian. At the beginning of his book, twice he quotes the Biblical account in Genesis of Cain's jealous rage and then murder of his brother Abel because God favored Abel. I thought it rather an ironic analogy in light of the hostility and jealously the Arab world displays toward it's brother or cousin Israel. As a Bible scholar, Mr. Carter ought to be familiar with the passage in the book of Ecclesiastes: "There is an appointed time for everything and a time for every event under heaven --- A time to give birth and a time to die, A time to kill and a time to heal, A time to weep and a time to dance, A time to love and a time to hate....A time for war and a time for peace..." etc. Today, we are living in a time for war; a war not of our choosing but clearly a time for war nonetheless. For Mr. Carter to be pro-peace during a time for war, is no different than Neville Chamberlain's pro-peace initiatives during those terrible days leading toward the second world war. There was a monster in the form of Adolf Hitler all the while Chamberlain, like Carter sought peace and fraternity between nations. How many millions of innocent lives did Mr. Chamberlain cost the world? How many innocent lives will Jimmy Carter's naivety -- and those like him -- cost the world?
71. Remember, guys, Hillary is waiting for the proper moment ...
sk ,   USA   (09.17.07)
... to go after Obama. She actually hopes that Obama's middle name (Hussein) makes the case for her, leaving her with no blood on her hands. It's all very dirty -- even for politics. Not that I think Hillary would be much better. My guess is that she'll be like a stiffer version (a less agile triangulator) than Bill. Unlike Bill, she actually does have views. These views are way Left, and they do not include any love for Jews or Israel. Alas, the real problem with her, given the political forces at work, will be inactivity against terrorism (and Islam) during her term, if she is elected. Just like Bill, she might manage to do nothing until it's too late.
72. Obama's antisemitic associates
Roy M.   (09.18.07)
Brezinski is just the latest antisemitic Obama pal to emerge. Reverend Jeremiah Wright called for divestment from Israel and has a history of associtating with anti-Israel Muslim leaders. Wright has been Obama's pastor for years. He officiated at Obama's wedding. Obama used Wright's phrase "The Audacity of Hope" for the title of his new book.
73. Obama (Osama), Carter ????
David Powell ,   Everett,Wa. USA   (09.18.07)
Not counting 7 million Jews, If Osama Obama is elected, does Israel have room for 300 Million American refugees???.
74. brzezinksi bad news
artgur ,   jersey city usa   (09.18.07)
We know Brzezinksi's policies, we know his pasthe has not changed. He was and is NO Friend of Israels'. Obama has lost my support.
75. Obama and Brzezinski
zenpiper ,   New York, USA   (09.18.07)
This strikes me as a most unholy alliance. Both are members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) whose agenda is attaining a one world government. Brzezinski wrote the Grand Chessboard, a book about why the U.S. should make preparation to invade and steal Central Asia. So now he's advisor to Obama? Not good. Of the candidates who are seeking the presidency, I like Ron Paul best. He is not allied with any "elitist" ground and is dead against any incursion to foreign, sovereign, nations. This is the only sensible way to behave.
76. #38 Way to go
Petra ,   USA   (09.18.07)
Wake up and read some history, babe, the arab s were allies of Hitler in WW11, way before any Jews had Israel as a nation. You're a stupid bigot and our enemies, like Israels, would gladly slit your throat for their beliefs. Non muslims are targets for them. Stupidity like yours is a hoot. Sad to say, in fact, you allied yourself with our enemies and with Israels.
77. Joy #38 What a crap!
Brod ,   USA   (09.18.07)
Don't spew your Antisemitic/Islamist-Jihadist occupation crap! The land belongs to Israel since 4000 years. The Arab Islamist-Jihadists have no right usurping and occupying Jewish land.
78. brzezinski
paul murphy ,   london england   (02.13.08)
This US citizen welcomes the appointment of Brzezinski. Israel is a foreign country like Russia, France, and England. (something that seems to have been forgotten by some people). Brzezinski has always acted in what he has believed to be in the best interests of the US. Where the Interests of Israel irredentists (such as its land-grab policy) conflict with the values and interests of his own country he has been unswerveing in his loyalty to his own nation. If this is interpreted as anti-semitism by some foreign extremists who reject such core US values as the right of folks to enjoy their private property without fear of expropriation and non-discrimination on grounds of religion, too bad. If this appointment means that Obama intends standing up to foreign lobbies who believe they can hi-jack US foreign policy it is good news for this country. The last time a foreign lobby hi-jacked US policy was the Irish Republicans. For years they drove a wedge between the US and its best European ally. When the State Dept finally got up the courage to face it down and cut off US funding for the IRA (a group that had similar "the land without the people" ambitions as AIPAC) the IRA soon came to the negotiating table and peace came to the North of Ireland and an issue that was long a source of poison betwen the US and Britain was eliminated. Paul Murphy, US citizen abroad.
