2. Iran won't be like Iraq
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.16.07)
I've read the arrogant posts of my fellow American's who have said that it is becasue of America that Israel has survived. Pride goes before destruction. Their arrogance is about to end and the earth will never be the same again ever. We forgot Who made US great ,but we will soon remember ,too late.. Israel will soon learn an important lesson about putting their trust in nations instead of their God. We in the U.S. are in for a humbling and will know that God has brought us down to the dust. Dividing Israel was the last nail in our coffin and God is going to put a stop to the Bush Road Map FOREVER. http://averyheavystone.blogspot.com/

8. to #4
R.Alakalai ,   USA   (09.16.07)
Joell, Iran won't be able to strike anything after the US hits it. Iran will be leveled. They have no defenses against what is coming.
9. YEP IT'S COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROBERT ,   FARMINGTON   (09.16.07)

12. hit Iranian facilities with CRUISE MISSILES
andy ,   orlando,fl   (09.16.07)
No need to send ground troops in.Use precision guided missiles.
13. Iran isn't negotiating.
(09.16.07)
Pursue negotiations right to the end. What end,the end of all options? The worst scenario is Iran and it's friends with nuclear weaponry.
14. Dont attack Iran/Please dont Kill more American Youths
Mich ,   Forida   (09.16.07)
There is more reasons not to attack than to attack. If Hizbullah surprise Israel in the last war, and IDF could not figure out what Hizbullah leaders hide or think.... Then its more difficult to know whats Iran hiding from military surprises, in addition Iran own the Persian gulf with all missiles range can affect oil supply. American soldiers in Iraq will be under direct hit from Iran. Oil prices will jump to more than 250 USD/ Barrel. There is still few years till Iran own a nuclear weapons, and still time to negotiate. Attacking Iran will ignite a third world war. Anybody who is pushing for Iran attack is actually against American interest. Nobody will benefit from Attacking Iran even Israel.
15. The French?
Jeff ,   Cherry Hill NJ USA   (09.16.07)

Johnny ,   Stockholm, Sweden   (09.17.07)
This is the best news of 2007? Well I can't think of anything topping this one. France is the core of EU, and will hopefully set the path ahead for the rest of the EU. Such superb news. WAY TO GO FRANCE!
18. Igor, Munich, more important to save millions of life
Johnny ,   Stockholm, Sweden   (09.17.07)
You cry about the oil price. Who gives. I among many others see it as infinitely more important to save the lives of millions of people, which will be the result of striking Iran now. Different values, different ethics, different believes.
19. French FM a realist
alan ,   Cape Straight Alaska   (09.17.07)
the French have now restored some honor to their FP by having their policy makers state the truth. Iran should know that if it does not give up its nukes it is going to suffer--- as in B-2, and we are not talking about a rock group but it will involve rocking and rolling vis a vie Leatherneck talk. So Iran has a choice. Use your money to create jobs for your youth. Invest in factories. Give up your nukes. or put on your dancing shoes.
20. #4 yes! those who strike Iran, find it necessary to
(09.17.07)
strike the cause of the whole dilemma.
21. 3 US carrier-strike groups in Gulf by Oct.
Johnson ,   USA   (09.17.07)
DEBKAfile Reports: Two US carrier-strike groups are bound for Persian Gulf region, bringing number back to three http://www.debka.com/ The amount of firepower massed in these strike groups is mind boggeling.
22. How many X did Iran reiterated they are NOT backing down
Obama ,   Washington DC   (09.17.07)
So, where is the room for negotiations? Well, @ least France just discovered that they are actually nearer to Iran than US, geographically speaking.
23. Napoleonic Complex!
Joe ,   San Francisco, USA   (09.17.07)
Viva La France, resurrected Napoleon Bonaparte rise again to take French Republic to the destiny she experience before, playing a second fiddler to British, unlike British, US or Russia, France don't have any real state which have any oil, old colonial or not, in light of recent Total oil company failure in Russia and Iran which incidentally were the cause of bringing Total to 4th ranking oil corporation in a globe will force France to through out herself toward US by hopping to get a peace of oil from Iraq in future, anyway does anyone remember a notable French leader, only Napoleon and deodorant comes to my mind!
24. France turn to fight Israel wars, Iraq is enough for US
Joy ,   Las Vegas   (09.17.07)
The FM of France can send his troops to fight Iran for Israel, he also can fight Syria and anybody else Israel chooses for him. That is cool as long as no more US troops will die in foreign country to make Israel feel more secure in its occupation of Palestine.
25. Iran, oil prices, France
JG   (09.17.07)
France is starting to wake up after a long hibernation. Now, how to start the good fight against Iran: Make development of alternative energy a top priority. Eliminating the dependency on oil would also weaken other threats in the mideast.
26. when is it the right time to give up negotiations
chaim ,   miami beach usa   (09.17.07)
France and most of the world leaders state “We must negotiate right to the end," What I question is who will determine that we have reached the “END” the UN, the EU Russia, Denmark, Germany, Saudi Arabia, China, that will spur the world to undertake and avail themselves of the first law of nature, that is self preservation, or will such event be only after Iran, Syria, Hizzboloa North Korea either separately or in any combination obliterates any city that will produce untold casualties. Just look at any country dominated by the Islamic theory, the elite have all their needs met yet the majority of there other citizens live in abject poverty, non of which can be attributed to the “Occupation” by Israel. The Islamist have no regard for any other life except their own, and the suffering they will inflict against the world will be celebrated by handing out candies to the public for the great Islamic Victory that glorifies Allah. Again what I question is, How do you negotiate with a deranged psychopath that receives his instruction directly from GOD, any thing he says is either his delusion, or outright lies geared to deceive the people that love life so much that could not believe that such evil can be intentionally planed by what we consider a human. The dilemma that the world finds itself in at this time in history can be, and is the direct result of placing the fate of nations in the hands of the UN and the likes of the Baradi who intentionally deceived the world into ignoring the intention of the Islamic hate towards any other religion, culture or beliefs. The time of negotiations have ENDED there is no Human on the other side of the table that you can negotiate with. The time has come either direct and decisive action is taken to remove this scourge from the face of the world, or stop deceiving yourselves and be wiped out, we have arrived sadly at the point of Kill or be Killed
27. #11
(09.17.07)
i would rather pay $30 a gallon than see my country destroyed by an iranian bomb.
28. 18
Igor ,   Munich, Germany   (09.17.07)
Iran aint gonna attack someone, they don´t even have the ressources for that. Ahmadinenjad is just blabbering around and the whole world takes it seriously. This monkey just tries to improve his image in the Islamic world, nothing else. Iran wants to be the leader of the Islamic world. Israel should be more concerned about Pakistan, which already posesses nuclear bombs and soon Islamists will take over the State. Don´t be so blind.... besides: YES I CARE ABOUT THE OIL PRICES BECAUSE THOSE MIGHT HURT MY STANDARD OF LIVING BECAUSE EVERYTHING WILL BECOME EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. Now you care about saving peoples lives but you wont anymore if that will affect your life. There is no clear proof that Iran wants to produce nuclear weapons. The Americans are just looking for somehting new to draw attention away from their losses in Iraq and of course they want to control all the oil. Why dont they help the people who really need help in Africa and north Korea where governments let starve their people on the streets. Yeah..Zimbabwe as well!
29. Iran crisis
Hans Mittendorf ,   France   (09.17.07)
Is there any way to make love instead? Yes, very old fashioned, but Vietnam failed, Iraq failed, Iran will fail statistically speaking....
30. #28: So was Hitler
Ariel ,   London   (09.17.07)
Once upon a time nobody took Hitler seriously. They thought he was just blabbering. Don't forget too that when Hitler came to power, Germany had a very weak economy. The same is true of Ahmadinejad. You underestimate him at your peril.
