i am so very honored by your sincere love of us. yes, truth be told....we are in fact great. there is no race/religion/nationality or people that produced and have given more to mankind than the jews....to name a miniscule of thousands and thousands.....more nobel prizes, best technological monds, best medical and research minds, most advanced society in middle east putting the arabs and all their oil to shame, einstein, salk, oppenheimer, profs, scientists, doctors, engineers, intelectuals, authors, poets and a beautiful vast rich religion and history of these wonderous people over 4,000 years, way before christianity and way way before islam. what can i say? should we be proud?? 100% we should and we are!

I share your anger and disgust. How many Jewish boys have lost their lives already for the sake of the dream of a Jewish home, only to have this dream betrayed by Olmert and his ilk. The best way to honor that dream is to fight back, to do everything possible to replace the government before it fulfills the Leftist agenda of destroying Israel. The most important thing right now is to keep the land. Everything else that concerns Israeli society can be dealt with later. Do not give up.

yes...dreaming. don't you know that dreaming is what kept us going? dreaming of a great future. dreaming of our land back. dreaming of creating, building, self actualizing and suceeding. dreaming of a future that is glorious for our children and generations to come in our own homeland. dreaming and hoping is what was left for us after the holocaust and no one, not even you, can disolve this dream. we have dreamt and actualized our dream. if this doesn't sit well with you and if you find our sucess frustrating in the least, i suggest you follow your own dream, but don't begrudge ours. if your dream is to deny others their dreams, so be it. but the dream in every jewish heart is a 4000 year old dream that finally culminated in the jewish state. you may not like it but this is the reality on the ground. so, instead of hating and being frustrated, i suggest you calm down and accept it. that is all. ain't we grand, though? we are proud people because we have so much to be proud of.

Dear Henman family, you lost your beloved son as he defended Israel from the threat of terrorists. Nothing brings him back but without his and his comrades work there would be no Israel.

Fist of all, I want to express my deepest sympathy to the soldier’s family. May he rest in peace and his soul be comforted by the Almighty. Mr. Noname, #31, your arrogant way of looking at yourself and your people is irritating. It is true that a lot of Nobel price winners were Jews. However, the reason for that is not their superiority to other people; it is rather their long academic tradition. For many centuries Europe was very anti-Semitic. Hence the craftsmen’s guilds did not allow Jews to become members. Since one was not allowed to work as a craftsman without being a guild member the Jews studied and became physicians, scientists or economists. The Jews studied to survive. Furthermore, you are claiming that you put the Arabs and their oil to shame. I would enjoy seeing Israel waging the next war without Arab oil. Do all your advanced F-15 and F-16 jets, your Merkava tanks and your military vehicles work on solar technology? I would enjoy seeing how the Israeli economy would work without the association with the EU and without the backing of the U.S. I could go on like this for ages. Essentially I would like to remind you that the world does not need you but you need the world. The world does not need the German people; however, we could not survive on our own. The same counts for every other people, race and country in the world. The Jews have enough reasons to be proud because they contributed a lot of important things and ideas to mankind. Nevertheless, they are nothing special compared to other people.

Actually Mr. #31 cannot survive one day without the generous support from the US. But he is stupid ,so don't blame him for what he said !

I returned from Israel in February and the first base I was on was a paratrooper base with Sar-El as a volunteer. I got to meet some of the soldiers just like Staff Sgt Ben Zion, and even sat down to meals with them. I felt proud to be Jewish when I saw these young people willing to lay their lives down for Israel and saddened when their lives are cut short like this one, their whole life in front of them. May his name be for a blessing and my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Thank you
