1. What a hyprocritical bunch of MK's
Poitcha ,   Israel   (09.20.07)
When Gal On opened up her mouth and demanded the govt. be informed of the details of the Syrian operation, none of you criticised her !! You all remained silent. But, the moment the leader of the opposition says something, you all come down on his like a ton of bricks. For heaven's sake...we are a day away from Yom Kippur..find it in your hearts to concentrate your thoughts and efforts on those who need it most....the poverty stricken, the population in Sderot, the Holocaust survivors who are living in squalor.....
2. condetrated thoughts
Ben Temalion ,   Shiloh, MO USA   (09.20.07)
I find it hard to concentrate on Sderot without thinking where were they during the Aza pogrom (Mayoal's expressed opposition notwithstanding). I find it hard to concentrate on Bibi's latest betrayal for the benefit of self-interested headlines since it is his nature to betray. I concentrate on Har habayit and next Hebron. Bibi already betrayed Hebron. Har habayit is next. G-d forbid.
3. Bibi IS a blabber mouth
Talula ,   Israel   (09.20.07)
Bibi just had to blabber. He had to blabber about something that no-one wished to discuss, and not without reason. Why? Because Bibi wants the entire world to know that he has a presence in the Knesset and is privy to such information. He cannot bear to think that the world and its mother thought he was excluded from the latest state secret. For future reference, Bibi should not be entitled access to any sensitive information regarding state affairs. He IS a blabber mouth, a self opinionated arrogant big GOB! What a careless mouth you have Benjamin.
4. may this megalomanic potz never become PM
(09.20.07)
5. I predicted yesterday that Gal-on would be furious, but
Joseph P. ,   Jerusalem   (09.20.07)
I did not think the other MKs would be equally jealous. What a bunch of selfish, egoistic ministers sit in the Knesset.
6. Shows how desperate Olmert is to stay in power...
Mark Kleiman ,   South Florida, USA   (09.20.07)
Appreciate comment on Yom Kippur. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Sderot, and of course Gush Katif... With all my heart, L'Shana Tova :)
7. Civilized World is happy with opDetails will come out anyway
Alan ,   SA   (09.20.07)
8. Sderot?
Frank ,   Canada   (09.20.07)
These MKs should rather find a solution to daily Sderot shellings.
9. Old news
Jon ,   San Diego, USA   (09.20.07)
What Bibi said about the Syrian overflight was in the media days ago. It's old news. The MKs should just ignore him. Bibi's preening speaks for itself.
10. What a load of krap. Kitta alef kids
Israel   (09.20.07)
behave better than these twerps and have more brains too. Chaimkeh prepared his childish strategy so well yesterday, but so what! Before he left for two days overseas probably. Tzom kal Mr Y., ha ha.
11. Babbling Netanyahu
Estelle Orrelle ,   Kiryat Ono Israel   (09.20.07)
If I had to chose between Olmert and Netanyahu - I would chose the one who had control over his mouth !
12. Explain this
Ilan ,   Ariel   (09.20.07)
Vilan's colleague Gal-On calls for the Knesset to discuss the details of the operation and that is seemingly OK with him. Netanyahu merely states that Olmert discussed the operation with him and he objects. This Soviet/Orwellian outlook that allows Olmert to reap the benefits of an military operation on all the front pages, but never officially recognized to have taken place is just too weird for me to understand.
13. Pr approaches..
Jude Davies ,   London   (09.20.07)
I really don't see what the big deal is about. Whether Bibi spoke the words " Syrian mission" or not, the whole world has been writing & talking about this " secret" mission openly since day one- i dont see any breach of national security about talking about something that is already in the international public arena. What will be more interesting is the gradual disclosure or not of what exactly was targeted, leave that to the newspapers.. The other big international story of course is the Pr video promoting come & visit Israel to see beautiful Israeli women.. oh well , makes a change, happy holidays...
14. Two kindergardners
Where else ,   Israel   (09.20.07)
One toddler puts his foot out in utter gleeeee to DELIBERATELY trip up the other toddler. All the other kiddies scream in laughter nu,nu,nu he he he. And WE pay agra for the honour of seeing and hearing these morons. They should pay us.
15. CNN: Israel's Netanyahu confirms IDF airstrike in Syria
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (09.20.07)
Well done, Bibi! All the righties, myself included, condemned MK Zahavah Galon for demanding that the Syrian "Thing" be discussed in the Knesset. Now, Mr. Self Righteous Bibi Netanyahu opens his big mouth and blabs the whole thing out. How stupid can you get? Your ego, Bibi, is endangering the security of the state. Whose side are you on? Syria's or Iran's? Ambition is excusable I suppose, but stupidity, never! Resign as Chairman of the Likud!
16. mk furious at netanyahu
HENRYK ,   RAMAT GAN/ISRAEL   (09.20.07)
I WOULD LIKE THAT MK NETANYAHU TO WRITE 1000 TIMES IN THE KNESET I SHOULD LEARN TO KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT PERHAPS HE SHALL LEARN SOMETHING?
17. Why furious?
Brod ,   USA   (09.20.07)
When Israel blasted Saddam's nuke, Begin told the world why they did it. And the world respected him. There is NO point hiding it.
18. Avshalom Vilan opposed killing Yassin and Rantisi
Ken Jurist   (09.20.07)
Avshalom Vilan who opposed killing Yassin and Rantisi is criticizing Netanyahu. Avshalom Vilan who believes in land for terror camps and opposes killing Arab murderers is criticizing Netanyahu. If Jews listen to Avshalom Vilan, they'll be speaking in Arabic and Iranian.
19. Loose lips sink ships... Olmert can't be PM with that mouth!
Nannette ,   London   (09.20.07)
20. BIBI, WHY ARENT YOU DEMMANDING ELECTIONS NOW!
freejay ,   israel   (09.20.07)
21. #17 - Wrong! We are getting far more milage....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (09.20.07)
by saying nothing. Its a shrewd policy that lets Syria's arab neighbors say nothing. The mere fact that the only protest came from North Korea is valuable information. It also shows that Ehud Barak is in charge at the defense ministry - like him or not, he knows how to run the military unlike that HIstadrut numnuts. Do - don't talk. Actions speak louder than words, etc. Bibi should be excluded from such further matters. He can't be trusted to keep his mouth shut.
22. Penis, Vilan & Hasson - extreme Leftists claim BIBI
Jacqes ,   Lyons   (09.20.07)
is endangering our security? Who armed arafaT's arabs? Who is responsible for the situation in Gaza? Who would've voted AGAINST this operation? Bibi may have a BIG mouth - but HE's not the TRAITOR...
23. What Bibi REALLY said
Besalel ,   Kew Gardens, NY   (09.20.07)
Yavin (interviewer): "With your permission, I'd like to change the subject to the northern front. Listen - we haven't heard you praise Olmert for the operation clouded in secrecy." Netanyahu: "You don't expect me to say-" Yavin: "You haven't said a good word to Olmert, maybe because the polls are tipping in his favor, maybe at your expense..." Netanyahu: "Absolutely not. I think that when the Prime Minister does things that are important and necessary --" Yavin: "So bless him! Netanyahu: "-- and generally when the government acts for the security of Israel, I give my support,” Netanyahu said. “And also here I was privy to this, I must say, from the get-go, and I gave my support – but it is too early to discuss this matter and there is time to give all the blessing and specifically --" Yavin: "Let me understand. Have you blessed him? Netanyahu: "Personally?" Yavin: "For this action?" Netanyahu: "Personally? Yavin: "Yes." Netanyahu: "Yes." Yavin: "OK, we won't elaborate. Because according to foreign reports Israel struck a nuclear facility. Everything is shrouded in secrecy. You are not prepared to elaborate on what you spoke about in your conversation with Olmert?" Netanyahu: "No."
24. Netanyahu 's comments on air strike
Elle ,   Pacifica CA USA   (09.21.07)
Syria says that there was no strike and no damage. Let's go with that and leave Netanyahu alone. He must have imagined the operation as the arabs never lie.
