1. Syria's best friends- Iran and North Korea
Sam ,   Canada   (09.21.07)
If you judge people by the friends they keep, it doesn't say much for Syria, does it? Is this how people in Syria want to be identified? Is this the kind of life Syrians aspire to?
2. Axis of evil, axis of evil, axis of evil!!!
Axis of Evil   (09.21.07)

5. WHY SO MUCH CONCERN??#1
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.21.07)
Every individual country has the right to make a choice.Like for instance,Israel has maintained cordial relations with Turkey......so far.Turkey,in the meantime has signed an agreement to exploit the Pars gas fields, while on the other hand,Israel is jumping about trying to persuade various countries to impose sanctions by NOT investing in Iran.how do you see that for a change.Syria will obviously maintain good relationship with N.Koreans.........and if it is axis of evil,be it so.
6. A DAY TO REMEMBER.
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (09.21.07)
I hold my head in my hands on the beginning of the most solemn day of the year Yom Kippur,as countries dedicated to evil constantly plead their cause for Justice!! in the world arenaof the U>N>It seems that this daay is a call to all Jews to put in an extra effort and go to their Synagogues as the problems seem insurmountable and getting worse than ever.It should be pointed out that morality is not for Israel alone to judge, but it is incumbent on all Nations. on this day to bow their heads as the Almighty from his Heavenly Throne passes Judgement on every Human Being under His Yoke. What harm will be done if this introspection is marked by all people in the cause of PEACE.? This Garden Of Eden needs tending, are we the only ones to be the Gardeners?Let us all share the benefits ,Jew and Gentile alike, of re-sowing the world with the good seeds that the earth requires.Who will say AMEN?
7. #5 Mahmood..you are forgeting WW2!
DR ,   Florida, USA   (09.21.07)
The world saw what happens when naitons like this get together and are not stopped. Iran and N. korea are the closest things we have seen to Nazi-Germany. Syria is just their little lap dog, but still a threat!
8. #5, Mahmood..really?
DR ,   Florida, USA   (09.21.07)
Did you really ask "why so much concern?" If you are so dense as to not see the threat posed by iran, Syria and n. korea, then you need to get your head analyzed. What would happen if hezballah were to obtain a dirty bomb from Iran? What about a nuke from Syria via N. korea? You know that these animals will not hesitate to use it and even kill some of their own people just to kill Israelis. Reality is there for you to see, but you keep ignoring it. this is what delusional people do, Mahmood!!!
9. One country...Israel...the Arabs will never get!!!
D ,   Israel   (09.22.07)
10. WWIII is on the way.... :(
dan ,   somewhere   (09.21.07)
11. Mahmood- I'm not concerned about Syria
Sam ,   Canada   (09.21.07)
Syria is not concerned about me. (or other Jews) I'm not concerned about Syria. I'm suggesting that if Syria chose other friends like the West and peace with Israel rather than hanging out with nut-case regimes like Iran and North Korea, it would be of greater benefit, particularly for Syrians.
12. Birds of a feather flock together
Maurice ,   Montreal, Canada   (09.22.07)
Syria is in expected company: Iran, North Korea, Hamas and Hezbollah. This says a lot about this criminal dictatorship which does not hesitate to murder politicians in Lebanon. This sort of association will further isolate Syria from the western world.
13. The Troika of evil
Martin Aubut ,   Sherbrooke, Canada   (09.21.07)
North Korea--Syria--Iran-? Who will be the next to join the fatal troïka ? France or another Eurabian nation ?
14. shladovsky@comcast.net
Isaac Shladovsky ,   United States   (09.21.07)
What possible "bi-lateral interests" could these two have other tha the fact that both countries seem to be run by delusional individuals?! The Syrian one of the grnadeur kind while the other of the paranoid type. Perhaps someone should recommend anti-psychotic medication. Incredible.
15. Lets hope they drop the first nuke on you Mahmood!
Steven Wilson ,   Anchorage, Alaska   (09.22.07)
Duck, drop, and kis your hiney goodbye.
16. Syria and Iran are full of Shhht......
Johnson ,   USA   (09.23.07)
After all the pot bellied little dictator in North Korea thinks he is a god. How could any true muslim even deal with such a person?
17. DR,HOW MANY REMINDERS?....#7
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.23.07)
DR,I am not forgetting anything.Irrespective of what actions, plans, strategies countries have, equal rights of reciprocacity wil be the trend in future. There is no doubt about it,DR.It is just that you have not been used to this types of reciprocal actions in the past. Those days are over,DR
18. FADING MEMORY,SAM?........#11
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (09.23.07)
You seem to have a very bad memory indeed.Just reverse your memory to the days when Iran was embroiled in conflict with Saddam.......where was the gesture towards Syrians at that time? How come today you feel that Syrians should do what you are suggesting? It is incredible indeed the way your mind works,Sam.
