1. Very interesting story
Chaya ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (09.25.07)
There are probably thousands more like it throughout the U.S. - and the world.
2. Indianpolis Colts
Connie ,   VA. USA   (09.26.07)
I remember there were a lot of scuffles in the Baltimore news about the colts' owner. The bright spot out of it all was QB Johnny Unitas. I was still living in Baltimore when the team left. Two years later I left for Virginia and now I'm a Washington Redskin fan. I still feel nostalgic towards the colts but also still a little riffed by the way they left. Starting school in Baltimore, me and my sisters and brother had to walk past a Jewish synagogue. I remember seeing the Star of David on the building but did not know what it was until I was older. jewish
3. More memories
Connie ,   VA. USA   (09.26.07)
My Dad is a retired Balitmore city policeman and part of his job included doing security for the Colts and Orioles at Memorial Stadium. We moved back to the city in the summer of '73. The Vo-Tech high school we went to was just 5 to 10 minutes away from the now demolished stadium.
4. A good man but his father...
JK ,   NYC   (09.26.07)
it is so sad the level of self hatred that so many jews have for themselves and their religion, so many if not outright hateful are clearly non believers and embarrassed by any outward signs of jewishness and religious belief and practice, and afraid of the anti semitic consequences before any indication of them, jews are such cowards.
5. # 4 ,,it takes biggots like you
Ivri   (09.26.07)
for us jews to learn the smell of antisemitism. AND BOY...YOU STINK! Thanks for the revelation!
6. #4 and #5, confused.
David, proud Jew ,   Boston, USA   (09.26.07)
I am a bit confused by both of you. I also detest self hating Jews. I am EXTREMELY proud of being Jewish and would rather die than not be Jewish. My wife converted to Judaism. Personally, I dont understand why everyone isnt Jewish, but its their choice. Maybe thats why I hate self-hating Jews so much. We were born to follow Halacha and Tikkun Olam. We do it because its the right thing to do. I love when people choose to convert to Judaism. Converts make great Jews. Its good to find your Jewish roots. Its even better when you convert and follow them.
7. Cousins in Skokie
Alan Topp ,   Poteet, Tx   (09.26.07)
I grew up with your cousins in Skokie and knew you were jewish almost 38 years ago. If my memory is correct his name is Steven and he played the piano by ear.
8. Mr.Irsay
Marvin Kravetsky ,   Toronto, Ont. Canada   (10.01.07)
What a sad story! The man could have had Gold by looking up and learning about his Jewish roots and not treating them as a peculiar aberattion. So all his money and all his doings are somewhat diminshed by football
9. Jim Irsay
Bill ,   Port Ludlow   (11.12.09)
I have been a Colts fan for over 40 years Jim Irsay has done a great job Baruch haShem
10. #6 you nailed it.
David E. ,   Canada   (03.19.14)
