1. Then send the carrier battle groups home
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.23.07)
I remembe when Britans Nevill Chamberalin came back from his meeting with hitler and said pretty much the same thing admiral fallon is saying. We know and can see what is coming because Israel cannot tolerate a nuclear armed hitler and too many western leadershave said the same. So reality tells something different that you are saying Admiral Fallon because we know that diplomacy has always failed and only stalled what is coming. O enemy, destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities; Even their memory has perished. But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment. He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people. When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble. Have mercy on me, O Lord! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, You who lift me up from the gates of death, That I may tell of all Your praise In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will rejoice in Your salvation. The nations have sunk down in the pit which they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is caught. The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten; The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever. Arise, O Lord, Do not let man prevail; Let the nations be judged in Your sight. Put them in fear, O Lord, That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah psalm 9
2. He needs to be replaced

He needs to be replaced. Who recommended his appointment to Bush? He seems to be undermining the Commander-In-Chief by making a statement that military leaders should not be issuing. It is time Bush replaces those who undermine his leadership.
3. I believe Admiral Fallon is expressing his HOPE that war
Rivkah   (09.23.07)
with Iran will not come, while flexing the strength of the military might of America in the Persian Gulf region at President Bush's direction in response to the threats of Iran's President to annihilate AMERICA and Israel. The Western press does not tell the people the whole story of the threats against America, limiting the reports to threats to Israel by Iran, mostly. Most Flag officers, whether Navy or Army, Air Force or Marine or Coast Guard are diplomats or they would have been crushed out of the services for having their own opinions instead of the Commander in Chief's opinions. Agreeing publicly to the President's position is essential to keeping one's job in the long run, but a few express reservations and still stay in power. Believe me, the spector of ships being sunk in the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf would cause a military leader to seek peace if that is possible. A THIRD of the ships in the world, around 32,000 ships were sunk in World War II. I hope that is the event in Revelation that says a third of the ships in the world will be destroyed. But if it is not, and history repeats, why would an Admiral want a war that will result in a third of the people on earth dying (2 billion)? This is not Armageddon, but it will be terrible enough. If Admiral Fallon approached the President of Iran in an arrogant way instead of hoping for peace in a humble attempt to avoid armed conflict but with the muscle to go into war, then the Iranians would be more likely to fight.
4. #2 Brod

It's typical of the bushbot idiots to blame other for what this president does. The buck stops with Bush ,He's the one who put Admiral Fallon in charge. he is the one who pushes his Road Map down Israel's throat and rewards the Islamic terrorists and punishes Israel. You follow a wolf in sheeps costume always making pathetic excuses for his evil agenda. So get a grip and place the blame where it lies. Bush undermines his own leadership. He's a bold faced liar who says one thing and does another.
