So what you are saying is: "it's okay to take Palestinian civilians hostage, but not okay to take Israeli soldiers hostage." Where in the world did you get your information that most of the Palestinian and Lebanese prisoners are innocent civilians? I recently saw a show on Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and every single one of them bragged about committing a terrorist act, or at least trying to murder Israeli civilians. I have also read articles on Palestinian prisoners who also admitted to trying to kill Israelis. Not a single one of these people claimed to be innocent.
