Israel should provide her civilians (all of whom are trained soldiers) rocket launchers and let them fire back into Gaza as they please. Then the UN and PA will have to shut their mouths or do something about the rockets being fired from Gaza. Although this is not my first choice, I am sick of seeing Israel's name smeared in the news.

Answer: there are the same. The only difference is their approach. One comes like a wolf in sheep's clothing (fatah) the other comes as a wolf (hamas). The sooner Israel really understands with it the better off Israel will be.

When Khalid says gaza is devastated I have to agree with him. Ever since I first went into Gaza in 77' it's been a toilet of a town. Filthy trash sewage and grafitti defacing everything. Some years ago there was a cry from the Palestinian's that Israel had devastated their infrastructure in Gaza . I reminded them that there was no infrastructure only trash and filth,I saw it with my own eyes.. Something I shall never forget ;A mother holding her baby who had flies all over his mouth and eyes and nose and this mother would not even swat the flies off her babies face. It's no wonder the people of Gaza are angry and balme thier misery on others.

I think the UN has more important things right now like what is happening in Burma that to be concerned about the mess you started in Gaza. How come you did not complain when your Fatah and Hamas were killing one another?

Abbas and the UN have NO business interfering in Israel's defense against unrelenting external aggressions by Islamist--Jihadists. Why is Abbas defending those thugs who have been shooting rockets at Israel? Does he want to see them shoot more rockets at Israel with impunity? The fact is peace does not exist among Islamist-Jihadists. As Islamist-Jihadist scholar, Omar Abdel Rahman, points out, "there is a whole surah [chapter] called 'Spoils of War.' There is no surah called 'Peace.' Jihad and killing are the head of Islam. If you take them out, you cut off the head of Islam." (p. 24, "Islam and Terrorism" [2002] by Mark A. Gabriel, PhD).

Your logic is not the way the world works. Do you think this is a game? Palestinians vow to kill as many Israelis as they can and since their abilities are limited Israel must also play with two hands tied. Gaza fires rockets into Israel, Israel need not wait for a bull's eye hit onto a school in Israel in otder to respond. If you want the devistation in Gaza to stop, I propose you make peace with Israel. Instead Gaza has voted for a terror group. Gaza should be bombarded WWII style. If Palestinians will really never submit to reality, let them be homeless in Gaza.

You should have condemned Hamas for inviting the Israeli reaction in the Gaza Strip -- and NOT Israel !!! HOW come you have your priorities upside-down ?? BTW this reaction of Israel, which is happening NOW, is a consequence of the Kassam rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip into Israel. Mr. Abbas you are blaming the WRONG entity ; you are blaming the wronged one. And THAT is a malicious act from your side. BTW you should urge the Security Council to stop Hamas from firing Kassam rockets into Israel. THIS sounds logical, isn't it ??
