I find it curious that many innovations developed in Israel appear elsewhere long before they make their appearance locally. Israel's Solel is putting up one of the largest solar generation facilities in California. But a similar facility for Israel is being held up by government inaction and bureaucracy. In the same vein, the proposed Agro-Housing is going up in China. One might think, with all the urban construction in Israel, something so innovative would go up there. Instead what I see among the new projects are architectural curiosities (some rather bizarre), but little in the way of green construction.
