Olmert's reassurances are worthless as he is totally gullible. Putin has been arming Iran for all these years in the nuclear field. Olmert is very intelligent. What he says in public is a calculated part of his strategy. I think he is handling things quite well (especially considering all the personal attacks on him and the legal accusations). Even the war in Lebanon was a brilliant strategic move. The execution was not good but that was not his fault.
