Unless they are engaged in random violence, the time to deal with settlers is after a peace deal not before. The settlers are trying to do the same thing as Palestinians - settle all of Israel. (Palestine) If there is no peace deal, the Jews should do it first.

For the settlers, the fight is suicidal. The leftest gov't will, repeat, will destroy any remnants of a Jewish land. You cannot fight them, they have the army and the world to bring this to an end. If all Jews were gone from the West Bank why would the Palestinians be in any greater rush to make a peace deal? As we see in Gaza where all Jews were withdrawn, it only increases their motivation to drive away Jews from Israel proper (Sderot, Ashkelon etc) Jews should try for peace but they cannot be a bunch of patsies if they are to keep a Jewish state when the Arab first choice is to get rid of them.
