If these journalists (hate to call them that) would do a little research about Hiroshima they would have found out that besides the initial impact zone,there is a much larger area that gets destroyed by the schock waves and the aftermath of radio activity over a much larger area. More then 60 years later the survivors of hiroshima are still dying of these radioactivity related diseases. 1 bomb = 30.000 deads......but I don't think that Iran will launch ONE ONLY BOMB !! How can we know in advance how many bomb will reach us ?? Arrow seems a very good ABM system , but we don't know if it will work at 100% and we don't know if we have enough Arrows to intercept all the missiles they will have within few years. The death toll is based on maybe an *immediate* death toll and does not take into account the deaths by radiation poisoning after the immediate disaster or the slower deaths from cancers developed as a result of living near elevated levels of nuclear waste for many long years. i think in any possible nuclear war for example with Syria or Iran Israel should get its retaliation in first so that the other side cannot get a first or second strike in .Very unstable situation but ther is no alternative we have to preclude the possibility of Syrian chemical missiles and Iranian missiles
