1. Message to Israel -Surrender & Die
Marcel ,   Florida   (10.29.07)
The EU and U.S.do nothing about Islamic missiles from Gaza falling on Jews in Israel because they know who butters their bread. They don't mind ,but it does bother them greatly if the Jews even think about getting the upper hand. It's al about making sure Isrel does not go anywhere near the concept of victory over her enemeis. The Jews are again to be sacrificed by the west ,this time to the bloodthirsty god of the arab oil barons and investors. It's all about the money and Israel is easily sacrificed. Why the Jews keep crawiling to their treacherous betrayers for help and acceptance is beyond me ?
2. Benito Ferrero-Waldner
israeli ,   israel   (10.29.07)
to quote Gaydamak: "Who is this person?"
3. WOW thats a surprise!!! Arent the concerned about the Turks?
Mike ,   Israel   (10.29.07)
4. Our friend the EU.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (10.29.07)
Always looking out for our welfare. Can we doubt their sincerity - look at all the Holocaust memorials they made after they helped murder us. They just love dead Jews - it's the live Jews they have problems with.
5. EU hypocrites
Sandra ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (10.29.07)
I suggest these imbecilic twits in the EU etc., spend some time in Sderot. Or, how would they like missiles being sent from a neighbouring country on their turf? They'd soon change their tune, and react with more severity on the perpertrators. They all make me sick, load of hypocrites. In my opinion Israel is not severe enough with the savages that send the missiles on a daily basis. 15 minutes is not enough, it should be at least 1 hour, or longer, after each missile is sent.
6. Of Course EU Supports Gaza
emanon ,   USA   (10.29.07)
EU remembers very well the recent uprising in France by its Arab population over an incident that was blown way out of proportion. With Eurabia becoming a reality, the EU is afraid of offending their most volatile minority. That is why they speak out against Israel's non-military option. This pushes Israel into having two options: Respond with a military option or roll over and do nothing. Either way, the Arabs win. If Israel launches a military defense it quickly gets spun into Israeli Imperialist Aggression and if they do nothing, Israel is slowly eroded away. Either way, they Arabs win. I say screw the EU: stay the course and shut down all power and water to Gaza. Maybe then they will be forced sell some arms to build their own power stations, develop their own irrigation systems and adopt a more peacfeul way of life.
7. Normal countries don't give anything to their enemy
Mordechai   (10.29.07)
During WWII did the Allied countries give power, food or anything else to the Nazis? Of course not. Normal countries fight their enemies not support them. Israel should cut off all trade, power food etc with Gaza and use its navy to block Gaza from receiving anything from its ports, and use its control of the air to prevent any supplies from reaching Gaza by air. Then the people in Gaza can decide if they like Hamas in charge. If they do Israel keeps up the pressure.

It is NONE of the business of the EU to intrude in Israel's internal affairs. Israel can tell them to go to Hell.
12. Surpris! Gazans cut their own power
observer   (10.29.07)
A new resistance weapon discovered. Gazans keep it secret. It starts to work sometime ago. The gravity of the situation caught the unwary Israeli leaders by surprise. Now the Israelis know the impact of this weapon on their environment, they are going to beg Gazans to accept power resume in exchange for the resistance new weapon. The EU may resort to bomb Israel to press it to stop Gzans' deadly weapon. Yes, read my lips EU BOMB ISRAEL! Haven't you the secret still not known, I'll give you a tip : Israel's sea & beech pollution.
13. Give her one of the Kassams to take home
Yoav Naor ,   Haifa Israel   (10.29.07)

14. Marcel - you may have a point, however
Micha ,   Israel   (10.29.07)
you are the ultimate coward. You sit at your computer, constantly trawling the Ynet media events from your Florida sanctuary- and offer 'sweeping' radical remarks. you have LOTS to say, so why not get over here to spout off - in person, if you feel so strongly for the Jewish state? You come across as the ultimate self-hater. What good can you do from there, spend your life writing TBs? I say you are full of (cowardly) hot air.
15. How many Serbian
Igor ,   Germany   (10.29.07)
rockets, Mrs. Ferrero-Waldner, have fallen on, say, Graz, before the EU introduced sanctions against Serbia?
16. lack of Gazan's Masada thinking is disaster for Israel
(10.29.07)
1.5 million will take with them at least 750,000
17. because of Hamas' acts of murder and terror?
observer   (10.29.07)
is this an enough reason to intimidate and murder Gaza's civilians? because Hamas incites Israel to? is not it admission of guilt by Peres?!
18. #17 calling cutting elec. "murder" is pretty far-fetched!
observer's oversight ,   usa   (10.29.07)
then again, with the chaotic way things are run in Gaza, i wouldn't blame the civilians if they started murdering each other over resources.
19. European commissioner slams Gaza sanctions
OBSERVER ,   CANADA   (10.29.07)
What was the EU position and her opinion when Lebanon cut the POWER in response to ATTACKS from the refugee camp, and wiping out the whole camp to eliminate the terrorists?
20. EU set this precendant a few weeks ago...
Logic ,   Israel   (10.29.07)
Who remembers that the EU cut off a certain energy supply to Gaza when it was discovered that Hamas was pocketing EU money....
21. #14 micha
Marcel ,   Florida   (10.29.07)
You sit in a nation whose leaders surrender land and appease the enemy at every oportunity and allow them to remain in power, releasing Islamic terrorists from prison to go and kill innocent Jews while they allow Hamas to grow more powerful and you sit there and do nothing like most of Israel just sits there ? and you call me a coward ? Look in the mirror dear hypocrite.
22. #19 EU doen't care what Arabs do to each other
Sam ,   Canada   (10.29.07)
The EU couldn't care less if the Arabs kill each other, as long as they don't do it in EU countries. What they don't want is the Israelis upsetting the Arabs and having the Arabs take it out on Europeans in order for the EU to pressure Israel whom the Arabs are afraid of. The EU position is to appease the Arabs.
23. Marcel - pot calling the kettle black
Micha ,   Israel -formerly Aus   (10.29.07)
I am here, Marcel. That is the point. Here to vote, here to contribute - here to do things within what ever power I have, no matter how significant (or not) - to try and assist with this mess. I pay tax here! I have children, here, who like myself, will unfortunately have to learn to use a gun to defend the Jewish nation. I am here Marcel, you COWARD. That is the point~! HOW DARE YOU, YOU OF ALL PEOPLE call me a hypocrite!?? You seem to recognize that is problems - and all you ever come up with is barbed comments. I came from Australia to do this. I did not sit remotely, passing judgment on my entire nation from afar, not doing diddly sqat to make a difference - LIKE YOU!! Don't you call me a hypocrite. Are you Jewish?

Marcel ,   Florida   (10.29.07)
"Here to vote" You might as well get your useless hide back to where it came from because as almost everyone can see your vote is about as worthless as you and your drivel are. You don't like what I have to say ,shut up and stop reading it ,or are you going to become the little socialist censor at YNET . Did you look in the mirror yet ,you voting hypocrite ?
30. So predictable the EU could have "phoned it in"
Raymond from DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (10.29.07)
Where Israel is concerned, they are always "slammed" or "blasted" by the EU and their ilk. Such reactions are totally predictable. Why no comparable outrage over Darfur? Or Tibet? Or human rights in the Islamic world? Funny, they are never outraged when Israel is under assault. These hypocrites forget Gaza is engaged in a declared war against Israel. Israel owes them nothing. They should be reminded that pre-1967 Gaza got nothing from Israel and wanted nothing from Israel. Don't they want to return to those pre-occupation days?
