" Pines is slandering the police by implying they shot people burning an antenna. Apparently, the police shot rioters who had burnt a house down, shattered a policeman's skull and tried to stab a 20 year old girl who was only saved by an elderly Druze man. There are reports that the rioters threw grenades and shot at the police. Certainly the police behavior should be investigated, but the analogy to Ramat Gan is strange. What is particularly disturbing is that Pines was one of the supporters of the police when they beat little girls, broke the arm of a doctor and battered a former general. It seems that Pines supports the use of state violence only against his political opponents.
