1. Hey Mazuz you ever hear of an eye for an eye?
Bernie ,   Seattle   (11.04.07)
Qassams cause blackout in Sderot Rocket fired at southern town hits power line, damages several buildings; a number of people suffer from shock So why can't we cut their power?????
2. Mazus has made to many mistakes and it's time to say 'bye'!
redmiike ,   tel aviv   (11.04.07)
When Mazus was first appointed I approved of him but he has made one blunder after another and appears to osusceptible to pressure from above - too weak. He additionally made many legal mistakes regarding the Katzav affair. Whether said mistakes were because of said pressure or due to lack of knowledge - it is time for him to empty out his office!
3. mazuz and gaza electric
elliot ,   point robrts,usa   (11.04.07)
as this is a foreign affairs matter now,can anyone explain what business it is of mazuz?
4. doenst matter who wins Olmert will put the lights on in US
zionist forever   (11.04.07)
It doesnt really matter what either of them think or want because when Olmert gets back from this Anapoilis conference he will not only be putting the lights back on but he will probably end up doing a deal where Israeli taxpayers pay to build a huge power station in Gaza making Hamas totaly indipent. There will be so much gas going to Gaza that Israeli drivers will be left short. Also even thats irelivent because the current plans of limited cuts wont as a deterent it will mean for a couple of hours things will be inconvenient for Hamas. If your going to use power cuts as a weapon effectivly you first need to stop playing the humanitrian who worried about ordinary people and then cut off all electricity for a minimum of a week and then say 1 rocket = 1 day without electricty next day and 2 rockets means 2 days Make them understand that every rocket they fire will leave them in the dark for another day and give them a taste of whats to come in the begining by cutting off all the power for a week.
5. Power supply
Juan ,   Spain   (11.04.07)
If you cannot agree within your own country to cut off the power, which I believe would be just, how will you handle the international outcry when it is actually implemented?? Keep reducing the fuel deliveries to zero. That will soon bite.
6. Such atrocious crimes.
Wilhelmina Bracht ,   Austria   (11.05.07)
Barak has the conscience of a sociopath, None. God help the Gazan children, when will these crimes be punished? U.N.? Unbelievably Negligent !
